F1 2019 lowers all other audio?

Im trying to listen to music while playing f1 2019 but as soon as i "tab in" to the game all other audio is almost muted. i cant hear **** in either sppotify or youtube. This is extreely frustrating as there seems to not be an option to change this. Ive pretty much looked everywhere and im really not wanting to play this game if i cant fix it. please help.

Best compromise is to use the Communications tab in the Sound icon in Windows classic CP. and set to 'Do Nothing'. Then you can pretty much set levels in the mixer and they will stay the same.
