justbiglee
Hi all, just an update on the FFB issue. It's being worked on now and we hope to have a fix up as soon as possible. Realistically though I don' think it will be this week, (needs to be tested thoroughly before it goes live). We're aiming to have it resolved next week but I can't promise anything just yet. I'll keep you updated as the week goes on :)

I still can't see it on my licenses and subscriptions page, but it works and that's what matters.

The game is pretty sweet to play on a pad, but I'm just hopeless without a wheel...Some may argue that the fix would get tested extensively if you released it ASAP :)

Some may argue this issue wouldn't have occured if they had tested it extensively before it was released.

I know I definitely would.I seriously have no idea how a game company that specialises in producing driving games fails to check whether using the preferred peripheral works with one of their flagship products before releasing to the wild!"It's just going through QA", Really? That was 2 months before release, and not once in that time someone thought to plug in a wheel? Or maybe they did, which is even worse, releasing a dysfunctional product knowingly, despite apparently been 'worked on' for a year.It boggles the mind. Its a shame, Codies games have so much potential, I want to see them succeed, but they're not doing themselves any favours. justbiglee
FFB update for you. Everything checks out with the patch so far, the QA team are just going to do some final extra testing with wheels that aren't officially supported (this is because DiRT 3 is an old game and users with newer wheels had reported the issue). Its mainly because DiRT 3's officially supported wheel list was just theseLogitech G25Logitech G27Logitech Formula Force EXThrustmaster T500 RSThrustmaster Ferrari 430Thrustmaster Rally GT ForceBut obviously all wheel users have been hit with the bug so we're doing some extra testing on all the ones that people have reported issues on to make sure it is fixed. The last thing we want to do is say its fixed when it's not for everybody.I'm optimistic for the fix to be live by the end of the week and I'll keep you updated. knamza
I installed dirt 3 after a long time but it doesn't have a patch so it still steers to the right. Thanks

Thanks If you downloaded the complete edition of Dirt 3 through Steam, then it downloads the most up to date version available. Its the same with any game downloaded through steam. T16R0N
I had the same issue. Since Dirt 3 is deleted from in Steam for licensing reasons, I tried to get the patch straight from CM. Unfortunately I was refused and even the guy who made the patch is not working in CM any more since long time ago. I don't think CM even kept the distribution of Dirt 3. It is lost in history, like HOMM3 initial resources was lost with 3DO archives. The only hope is for community, that maybe somebody kept old archive in the disk. Ialyrn
If you owned it on steam prior to its removal, you can still download and play it. Its only gone from active sale. I downloaded and played it last week for a bit.
rallypetrolhead
I play DIRT 3 Complete Edition on GFWL. How can I download the FFB FIX patch? I'm trying to play, but the wheel pulls left. I'm looking everywhere. How can I fix this now in 2021?
