ERS-deployment problems

Recommended Posts

experience a lot of problems with the ERS-deployment in career mode. I’m using the automatic deployment since I’m using a PS4 controller, which makes it hard (or even almost impossible) to switch between the different levels of deployment while also steering.

The automatic deployment causes a situation at which I don’t have any ERS left when entering the last corner, or even before the last one. I’m therefore more than half a second slower in the last sector.

Are more people experiencing the same problem? Or is there a simple solution which I did not recognize until now?

Would be great to get some help.

Thanks in advance

Yeah its ********, I must switched because of this to manual, but dont worry AI is stupid like these automatics and they are absolutely stupid in using ers durting the race (behind car mode 4) (close in front mode 2 or less) so we have like packed racing 🙂

Did you try the Shortcut options in the Controller setting of the F1 game? You can choose one button to increase ERS and another button to decrease ERS, without heaving to first scroll in the MFD.

If you go to the controls, you will find the shortcuts tab (last tab). There you can bind increase ERS and decrease ERS to easy to reach buttons. That way you can switch to manual.

Also you can switch your ERS just before and after the corner when you are done steering. You barely lose any time with that. Less time than with auto ERS.

I did this but for some reason it has a stupid delay. I cant change ers as fast as with arrows on the mfd, which is really annoying... Do you have the same issue?
