Red Bull still has a Renault engine

Recommended Posts

Not the first time they've done this. Williams had a Renault engine in 2014 and a Cosworth engine in 2012. They've copy&pasted a lot of values over the years, often even accidentally swapping values (all of Raikkonen and Grosjean's stats in 2012 AND 2013, or Vettel and Webber in 2010) or forgetting to change anything other than the overall stat (Vettel in 2014 where he was a monster).

Never knew that.

It's hardly game-breaking, just found it funny, but it shows the lack of attention to detail, and who knows what else just gets copied and pasted.

This has already been noted before, and has effectively been corrected in the performance patch 1.05.

This was on 1.05, according to the author.

Ah, I must have mistunderstood then. I meant that when in career R&D, the overall engine stat for Red Bull and Toro Rosso now matches up, where before 1.05 Red Bull had the same overall engine stat to Renault and McLaren, with Toro Rosso lagging behind.
