Recommended Posts

Hi, i've got No race engineer volume (Jeff), i've tried verifying the integrity of game files and i've also tried re installing the game twice, in the advanced audio options it does however let me play the engineer through my monitor, i've tried to disabled the monitor, enable my headset etc, to make this work but nothing is doing it, can anyone help? thank you.

Set the default sound source in Windows, then select that source in game?

Try toggling the Voice slider in the Audio Options to 0 then 10?

Also check your Sounds|Communications tab option is set to 'Do nothing'. If it is, toggle it and back?

Reinstall the Kinect Speech for Windows runtimes, they're used for voice recognition but might have a bearing on the engineer code?

DDU your graphics driver, because they often install audio drivers. If you have iGPU drivers, reinstall those also (especially DCH drivers).

Check your audio drivers are HDA and not UAD. (For Realtek the device is named 'Realtek HD Audio Device' or 'Realtek (R) Audio' respectively, IIRC) remove UAD driver and install latest HDA.
