Career restart - money and garage

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

When manage career , restart - can CM please add option to reset your bank account (to small amount to buy lowest car and maybe minimal repair) and clear the garage of all the cars?    Career mode would be so much better if you had to manage your money/repairs and car purchases with money you earn.

edit:

I purchased the game and DLC, so I had all the money and cars to start

just sell everything. then use the money you have left to buy a bunch of cars. put upgrades on them (upgrades don't increase the money you get from selling the cars). then sell them.

repeat.

you'll get there eventually.

Or simply try crashing the R5 cars a lot xD. I took two DNF after crashing *many times* trying to beat the Masters championship going flat out in my Fiesta... damn that can empty any bank account pretty quickly. Back to my cheap Alpine I go.

Thanks for the Tips!    I'll try those.    Just seems strange there is option to reset career but your money and garage aren't effected by it.   I think the upgrades, staff , cars, etc, that you buy would mean allot more if you had to actually earn them :)

I did the 'reset all' under manage career - in profile settings. It didn't remove money, staff, or cars but did manage to reset all my wheel and pedal input settings to default 😉

it says pretty clearly what those resets do. one or both of them resets your options and stuff. it's not hidden information or anything

should've also started with the Quattro, Stratos, Impreza 1995, Escort mkII and 911 RGT if I recall

I only got the DLc not super special Deluxe edition

you're not missing anything. I got it for the extra liveries and to have cheaper DLC. so far 3/6 liveries have been straight terrible (#s 1, 2 and 5), 2 have been good (#s 3 and 6) and 1 of them is ok (#4)

the 911 RGT is nice, but it's probably the hardest car to drive in the whole game
