F1 2019 circuit differences compared to real life.

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Now that the pit entry on the Paul Ricard circuit has been fixed in patch 1.07, I thought it would be a good idea to list some other flaws in the design of different tracks. I noticed a couple of things that aren't accurate to the real tracks. Feel free to list your own and let's hope Codemasters can change these things in the future so tracks in game are accurate to the real ones.

Hockenheim: For the 2019 season, the DRS zone on the pit straight has been removed, but it's still present in the game.

Hungary: The chicane in sector two has different kerbs compared to the real track. In real life the kerbs are lower and orange bumbs have been placed on the inside of both corners.

Brazil: On the inside of turn 2, bumps have been placed to prevent drivers from cutting the corner, but they're not there in-game.

I'm sure there are many more of these little inaccuracies, but this is a start.

There is no point in doing anything here. Codemasters is and remains incapable

Hier nützt alles stossen nichts. Codemasters ist und bleibt unfähig

I agree, it's pathetic how outdated the circuits & kerbs are. Unfortunately this has been the case for many years, so I'm honestly not even surprised anymore by Codemasters
