Agreed with people refusing to use Merry Christmas, though the holidays version is used inclusive for thanksgiving, Christmas, new year etc.

You silly Americans and your silly debates about completely symbolic things. I think it's rather shallow to see "merry Christmas" as an "exclusive" wording for essentially saying "happy holidays". There is nothing exclusive or inclusive about either. Christmas is historically not even a Christian holiday and the way the anglosphere celebrates it reminds more of Paganist tradition.
All the political correctness talk is really beginning to hurt my head and I wish we could bury all this dividing meaningless word-policing forever.

Merry Christmas everyone, and a happy new year!

Pretty much. But a minority gets offended because they can't just say it back.

People moved to "Happy Holidays" to be more inclusive to the 30% (and rising) of the US population that is non-Christian. As an immigrant nation, our inclusion and celebration of all cultures is a great strength and virtue that should rightly be celebrated.

Happy Holidays, no matter what you are celebrating, be merry and well!
Still a minority. And hey, guess what? If someone came up to me and said Happy Hanukkah or Kwanzaa, I'd say it back instead of getting angry because I don't do either of those things. There are also plenty of non Christians that do Christmas. Japan for example does it's own... thing... version of Christmas.

Here in Russia we "celebrate" it the 7th of January. But really no one cares about this date except a couple of grandfathers and grandmothers
Here in Russia we just say  "Are you gonna drink/hang out tonight?" instead of  any "best wishes".

JZstudios,

Then I understand what you mean. As you understand, I dont speak english more then on holidays and on internet so I can be kind of slow! :) And I dont want to missunderstand but I do ;)

That you speak about is just silly and I get angry about that to..Its nice to hear that my country not is the only country to forget about who we are when refugees and such comes along..Even if we is "proud" of our holidays but we is so offside in other things like our flag, sing our national theme/song and so on. All to not offend new citizens... I get sick of it..

Enough offtopic, but you russians (frankly..)and alcohol, just KINGS! Hahaha... :)

Yeah, I think it's insane. I think it's like me going to Spain or France and expecting everyone to speak English for me. And yes, there's people like that all over America. We also have a football team called the Redskins (A semi Native American/Indian slur) and some white guy got offended on behalf of the Indians. guy wanted the team to change the name it's had for over 40 years. Best part? Indians don't care, in fact in my state there's an all indian school with a football team called... you guessed it, the Redskins, and they defend the name, and get free game tickets. It's happening all over America that the "minority sensitivities" are eradicating important history because some white guy gets offended on there part. Anyways, that's enough politics, though it is awfully dirty.

New historic livery update:
Audi Sport Quattro 1985 Roehrl at Monte Carlo 1985
Download here.
Is it possible to create Stigs livery with Rally Sweden or Finland number plates instead of "Dirt"? Looks fine!

A question about your 555 livery?

Is it possible for you to add a blue color to the "backseat plate" incar and the "555 subaru world rally team" sticker on the backside of the hood vent and that one and a "prodrive" sticker on the dash so the livery gets all fantastic complete! Please! :)

I know the dash sticker has another mod but his mod in this state do not work with your awesome livery. Want that car to be perfect! ;)

Do you know if it will be possible in any future to add cars as mods (like RBR)?
If, for some reason this will be Codies last rally game, yes it will happen. Realistic... nah. Remember that RBR was not moddable, it was not possible to drive other stages, change surface have any form of online racing etc. But due to the nature of the gaming world, and no other rally sim appearing, it got a certain bunch of followers, that worked hard to do magic with it. And so it happened.
If, let's say RBR 2 had come 2 years later, we wouldn't seen anywhere near the amount of stuff that have appeared to RBR.

Oh, it's because it is possible with games like assetto corsa, by the way, thanks.

@arnorallye84 made that Freddy Loix livery already for RBR, maybe he could convert it if he wants to?

Which is running on a different engine than DiRT Rally and under a different developer and so on and so forth. So far adding cars seems impossible because the game can't even deal well with swapping in-game cars. In few years maybe it will be possible, but definitely not anytime soon.

Assetto Corsa also has the very open mod friendly mindset. Not sure if it's CM themselves or the engine that doesn't allow it.

Both to an extent, but in the end it's all down to Codies.
Codies made the engine to be fairly secure in a lot of areas, but it's the lack of tools or SDK's publicly available that is the limiting factor and its up to developers/publishers to provide those.
Or for communities to reverse engineer things, which is obviously harder.
Basically, no one has figured out a way to compile a 3D model in the compatible format, which would typically be done either by a plugin to 3D modelling software or as a separate program which converts one 3D model format + possibly other elements into the games format.
That's how we can add models from other EGO games that are already in a compatible format, but not add new ones.

An engine can always accept new things, you just need the correct tools to do it.

They also use there own in house file formats as well. Not sure what AC uses.
