[1.09][Multiplayer][Unranked][Old Bug] Driver falling through the map China

A short description of the problem: As title
Platform you’re on (PS4, Xbox One, PC, Steam): PC, Steam
Report Code (Bottom left corner: ABCD-EFG-HIJK-LMNO): Didn't look as it wasn't my car affected
Game Mode, Online or Offline: Unranked Online China
If in Multiplayer, how many players and how many AI?: 19 players, no AI (League Race, can even give you driver locations and speedtests)
What happened in the lead up to the problem?: During the race one driver's car was thrust into the air like he hit an iceberg.
If you get an error message, the exact wording of the error message you're receiving: No errors, just the clusterf**k you see in the videos
Any accessories you are using (wheel, pad, etc): Not sure it's relevant as onboard is not from me but I will add some from my PoV
Have you been able to recreate the issue? If so, what are the steps? We could not league race last week with 16 of the 19 drivers from this session. It's getting embarrassing for Codemasters and frustrating for Leagues. This kind of thing is unacceptable.
