I think they are in like 200 metre sections, so yeah, he was probably correct when Crofty said that. Think they also call each flag point a sector too? Moderator f1since08 Posted May 18, 2014 Moderator Share Posted May 18, 2014 I noticed last year at Monaco the onboard graphic (rev counter etc) was delayed, probably down to the amount of changes the cars make. See if they fix it this year.

Moderator MBKF1 Posted June 19, 2014 Author Moderator Share Posted June 19, 2014 Looking at the Austrian GP Preview images, I think the camera that goes along a long wire along a section of track is coming back, so that should be cool. Also, I'm expecting a lot of CGI adverts this weekend with the masses of fields and trees around the track.
Moderator MBKF1 Posted June 20, 2014 Author Moderator Share Posted June 20, 2014 Yeah, as I thought, a stupid amount of CGI adverts this weekend at Austria.T1) Allianz advert on inside grass at pit exitT3) Massive Rolex advert on inside grass bankT4/T5) Big Fly Emirates advert on inside grassT5/T6) Another big Fly Emirates advert on the inside grass from another angleGotta be honest though, they are pretty subtle this weekend which is good, unlike the ones last time at Canada which stood out like a sore thumb, as they say. Moderator f1since08 Posted July 4, 2014 Moderator Share Posted July 4, 2014 I've just been looking through some old forums that were discussing who the BBC coverage team should be for 2009, someone, in all seriousness, put this:Main Presenter: Richard HammondCo-presenter: Mark BlundellPit-lane Interviews: Martin Brundle & Ted KravitzCommentary Team: David Croft & Eddie IrvineThat sounds horrific!! RevolvingPrawn
Suzi Perry is awful! Doesn't matter which race, she's terriblle :pBut I do like your line-up @fIsince08, been saying since even before Perry got the job that it should be Lee McKenzie's. When she filled in for Jake I always though she did a fine job, much better than Suzi Perry's ever done.

xPaulStuart
My only comments on the TV coverage is that the BBC are an absolute joke, with only 9 live races a year. The only why to bypass this is to get a Sky Sports subscription which costs an absolute fortune.Frankly I think with the BBC being one of the biggest, if not THE biggest broadcasting company in the world they should be able to show every race live like a few years ago. This thing which annoys me most is that I always seem to find out who has got pole/the win before I actually get to watch the race due to Facebook or The news etc. Really annoys me... Mexicola
They don't have the broadcasting rights to air all the races live; Sky do.
