record what exactly? attempting to connect to the lobby?, sitting in the lobby for 1 hour with no race starting? the 25% ranked lobbies are completely rekt from this guy, and they have been for a minimum of 2 years now. 

I guess the solution is to drop from S rank to C and play with the guys who crash you all the time.

I've been trying to get a refund through steam, I send a ticket in every day for it. I have not played the game since I ran into him again in the 25% ranked lobbies.

Yes exactly. Doesnt have to be interesting in fact the more boring the better to highlight how frustrating it is trying to start racing! You can always edit it so just shows 1st minute, 10th minute, 30 etc with nothing happening.

Obviously the matchmaking needs some work.

Either the guy is oblivious to all this and it's just some kind of issue between you (possibly him) and online services OR there's a new type of nugget who thinks it's good to open a lobby and activate some kind of firewall / bandwidth limiter per process or port or just has really crappy internet.

If he's got form as you say, then possibly one of the latter.

You need to send a link to the video to Codemasters by email f1.report@codemasters.com because here it won't get the attention or it might be ignored.

This has been a complaint from a large number of people that I play with as well as people that I run into in random lobbies elsewhere. I noticed the issue first in F1 2018 and has continued ever since. Some of my friends have seen this same account in the F1 2017 game doing the same thing. 

 

I would agree that it might not be intentional but both of this guys accounts have a 100% win rate, hes clearly using the games ranked lobbies to boost himself and since races never start with him he is using this to lock people out of the 25% ranked races

Doesn’t really fill me with confidence, @OP, i wouldn’t bother wasting your time collecting all the evidence. If Codemasters were interested they would be monitoring it themselves.

Doesnt fill me with confidence either that anyone is bothered about 2019 anymore. Faya wrote over a week ago she was removing the images that show the problem person. Except that never happened. So when nobody bothers to enforce an obvious TOS breach by an easy image removal.... What chance is there that something actually difficult like a coding change is gonna happen?

LOL yes I should have noted that detail instead of just inferring anything in the forums was fayas responsibility. My excuse is that it's not my job to improve the game so I made (literally) an amateur mistake!

Tbh guys I've never ever seen a game ie f12019 started off so brightly then nose bombed faster then a dive bomber in just over 2 months ,

and then make a huge song and dance about fixing the helicopter which didn't affect the game one bit,

at the moment you can't give f12019 away ,I don't know anyone who races on ranked lobbies apart from pad users ,sorry .

up to patch 1.05 every thing was hunky dory  then patches 1.06 to patches 1.09 finished the game off completly ,

clearly someone resourceful wanted to sabotage f12019 in 4 patches , I never got a reply about refund ,

the whole pad vs wheel which was equal from day one and is clearly not anymore, maybe Liberty media could use a wheel lol.

Don't worry, i will know the results of the report, i can see them anytime i try to play online ranked 25% game, get a high enough safety rating and you will see him every time you play.

How much evidence/reports do Codemasters want? they seem rather toothless and uninterested in the quality of their online service. 

 

It’s been over two weeks since those 2 users have been making 25% distance lobbies unplayable. I’d give up if i was you guys.

It would be kind of cool and helpful if say 1 member of Codies staff (make it the intern lol) was tasked with actually playing the game for at least 1 hour per day, trying out the different multi-player modes. Any glaring issue like this wouldn't even need to have users suffering, then reporting, then waiting for a answers after submitting video or photo evidence to the CORRECT Codies email address.

A member of staff playing the game would already have all the evidence they need for obvious issues right there in the dev building!
