Dirt Rally: Which cars would you like to see make it into the game.

Recommended Posts

It would be really nice if we could get the Colin Mcrae R4 rally car. maybe as a reward for getting "born to run" achievement.

Definitely needs a Toyota Celica and Toyota Corolla. Also a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI.

To be honest. If we would be able to have 5 cars in each category I wouldn't really mind which car that would have been included.

but they should break up 2000s into early 2000s and late 2000s

Also R5 cars

Audi Sport quattro S1 E2!!!  A must!
Even if it is a DLC that you have to pay for, one must have the opportunity to drive the wing monster in DirtRally!

I do love this version of Impreza STI(2005).Please add it with its iconic livery if you can, even in DLC. It would be great if CM can add it into group 2000S. There were two nice Focus already and I will be very happy to see another Impreza with them.
Also, this one following is great too.(2007)

I would really like to see a big focus on the WRCars in the first three years after Group A.  These, to me, are the most exciting vehicles of the modern era driven by the most exciting drivers.  No-one can despute the driving genius of Sebastien Loeb, but he won all his rallies driving Citroens.  McRae, Sainz, Makinen, Kankkunen, Burns, Auriol etc won events across different makes.  I also believe it was one of the most exciting periods with legendary drivers in iconic cars (and liveries).  The fact the 1998 season went down to the last 400 metres of the last stage of the last event in the championship added to the drama and the greatness of this period.

So, I nominate the Works cars from the 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 seasons as ones to be reproduced (please).

1997
Ford Escort WRC (Repsol)

Subaru Impreza WRC (555)

Possibly the best looking rally car and livery ever produced - even better than the Alitalia Stratos in my view.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV (Ralliart)

And finally, for something slightly unusual (and in tribute), I'd love to see a Possum Bourne liveried Impreza WRC '98.

I know i'm not the only one on this but it would be nice if the wrc cars of pre 05 and the cars after 05 would be seperated or at least have more cars.
It would probably already make a huge difference if we had 1 extra car of each. Say a Peugeot 206 and a Subaru Imprezza 08 for example.

Personally I can't wait to see what they have in store for us and what possibilities thay have to add cars.

I'm already very pleased with the current car selection but I find it sad a LOT of the iconic rally liveries are missing.  For example if you google "Opel Manta 400 rally" you will find the most common liveries of the car but none of them are available in-game.

I couldn't agree more...the early WRC cars were far more exciting that the modern insects that buzz round the stages today.

Some very good suggestions on this thread that I would love to fling around, but I don't like the idea of having three or four different examples of the same car in the same class. I love Subaru's but I'd rather the devs made three different cars from different manufacturers instead of an '05, '06 and '08 Impreza.
