HoksuHoo 563 Posted September 18, 2019 A while ago Lamborghini unveiled this crazy off-road concept. Would certainly bring something new to the game - CAR: Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato - CLASS: Its own - IMAGE: Or how about some more Group B - CAR: Porsche 959 - CLASS: Group B 4WD - CHAMPIONSHIP / SEASONS: Group B was shut down by the time it was complete but it did compete in 1986 Paris-Dakar rally - IMAGE: - CAR: Ferrari 288 GTO - CLASS: Group B RWD - CHAMPIONSHIP / SEASONS: Was intented to race in Group B but never did - IMAGE: Also post-2017 spec WRC cars. CM cannot get a license for the real cars I get that, but then maybe do a semi-fictional/fictional car or two 2
banner2020 3 Posted September 18, 2019 here is lots of Rally Cars out there that don't get a mention as possible additions to any Dirt Rally Games, some of these cars would be an awesome addition to the game if they were added. They Are Darrian T90 Rally Car (A succesful rwd car on asphalt events in the UK & Ireland) Andy Burtons Peugeot Cosworth Rally Car (An incredible home made rally car that would be a great addition to any Dirt Game, I'm sure Licencing wouldn't be too problematic either) Fubaru Rally Car (Taken from Website: Fubaru Mk2 RS 4x4 Rally Car which is the only 4x4 mk2 on the globe with mostly Subaru running gear!) Lada VFTS Rally Car (A spectacular car, particularly on Eastern European Asphalt Events) Honda Civic FWD Rally Car (An exciting clubman car on many rally events) Mitsubishi Starion RWD Rally Car Mitsubishi Starion 4WD Prototype Rally Car (https://rallysportmag.com/starion-turbo-4wd-mitsubishis-group-b-prototype/) Rover SD1 Rally Car (A very large car but incredibly fast for its time) Nissan 240 RS Rally Car Talbot Sumbeam Rally Car (A very Successful car in the UK back in the 70's and 80's) Vauxhall Nova / Opel Corsa Rally Car (A successful Clubman Car) Renault Megane F2 (One of the fastest fwd cars ever) Nissan Sunny FWD Rally Car Proton Iriz R5 + Proton Satria S2000 (Surely possible as car is built in Wales) Seat Cordoba WRC (A unique addition to a Dirt Game) Mitsubishi Lancer WRC 05 Saab 99 Turbo rally car Mercedes 190 RWD Rally Car (Would be an epic addition to game) Citroen BX 4TC Rally Car (Something very different!) Suzuki SX4 WRC (A short lived car but would be a welcome addition) Kelsey MC2 (A home made car from New Zealand, Sound alone should have it in! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMAR9mBFN4c Holden Barina AP4 Car Toyota AE86 Twin Cam RWD Rally Car (Modified 2ltr + engines in Ireland are a spectacular site!) What you think? Any other Left Field Choices worth a mention?

While I agree in that having cars like the 306 Cosworth would be a chimera (you wouldn't even get a license to call it a Peugeot 306), I disagree in that some of them are far from "the original rally meaning". Let's not forget that, for many years, rallying was based around crazy ideas (Group B and S cars are prototypes, not in the more strict form of the word, but they are), like sticking a new front end to you Beta Montecarlo, adding a Volumex to the engine, and go rallying around the world. As for license, well, I don't think Citroen is a problem honestly. The relationship between CM and the PSA Group seems to be pretty good, with 3 Citroens, 2 Peugeots (and 2 more comming) and 3 Opels. Fubaru and the Peugeot Cosworth are far from pointless, and they would in no doubt prove hugely popular if they were added to the game, after all its a vido game, supposed to be fun, you DON'T need to be such a downer about these suggestions, it is after all a suggestion box!!!! toninus 182 Posted September 23, 2019 What's sure is that there won't be any Toyota. I also think it's dead for hybrids like the Fubaru posted above. And it may be hard to get licences for dead brands like Saab or Talbot. Ferrari is in the next Grid game so why not ? But Mercedes isn't...
