toninus 182 Posted September 13, 2019 If Codies is working on a new rally game for future consoles, and that rallies from DR2.0 could be upgraded for that new game, which ones would you keep or ditch ? I hope they won't just upgrade the visuals, but also add new tracks : at least twice more would be great. 10 countries in the base game would be nice, so considering there should be at least two new locations, you can keep a max of 8. My choice : Keep : Greece, Germany, Montecarlo, Finland, Argentina, Wales, New Zealand, Poland. Remove (but still welcome as DLCs later, with new tracks as well) : New England, Sweden, Australia, Spain. 1
SharkyOB 65 Posted September 13, 2019 All of them. Even better, just stick with DR2 and release more content for it. 5 1
ianism 1,316 Posted September 17, 2019 yeah, all of them. I'd also like to see more roads in each location. so I'd be fine with just a few (3-5) completely new locations (with 3-4 long stages each) if they added 1-2 new long stages for all the old ones.
RallyLover19 176 Posted September 17, 2019 All of them! More tracks, more fun. Just add new locations instead, ex. San Remo!
deadredeyes 33 Posted September 17, 2019 (edited) I'd love all of them, but I'd prefer a new engine that's optimized for realistic lengths of current rally locations. Give me Mexico, Turkey, Corsica, Germany (non-Panzerplatte locations), Chile, Sardegna, Portugal, and more of Monte Carlo. While I'm not expecting the full 215 miles of Tour De Corse, it would be nice to have at least a 1/4 of each of these locations. I'd gladly pay a gnarly premium price for all of that, sans modding capabilities. Edited September 17, 2019 by deadredeyes

You know how Codies work : If they only do 100% new locations, we'll end at best with 6 new countries and 20km of track each. That's what happenned with all the former Dirt games. That's why I would like if Codemasters could reuse the work they've done already (full tracks, but also all the visual things so they can create new tracks in old environment easily). That's what Kylotonn does for the WRC games, and that's also what Codies do with the Grid games (except the urban tracks are almost always the same). Then maybe we'll get a game with a really solid rally content ? Of course, having more stages from the countries we already have (original and dlc) would be a great option too. But from the words of PJ it's not the way things will go...

RudyAnton 0 Posted December 3, 2019 Yes... of course... we all want the same ol’ countries that have been injected into previous Rally games. Most of which have been 95% European countries because that’s where the rally market mostly resides... with some Africa and U.S stages sprinkled in here and there. Which is good but, I am from the Caribbean and the Caribbean’s Rally market though a much smaller market (obviously because they are Islands) is also Marketable and deemed worthy for Rally Games as well. So I would like to see more diversity of Locations in the Caribbean please. Cheers
hampti 7 Posted December 7, 2019 I remember....I loved Corsika Rally in V-Rally on PS One......so it would be nice to race it again 🙂 Also I could imagine it would be fun to race City Courses in Rally style. So CM could proof if it's possible to add, for example, Havanna, Barcelona, Paris.... from the Grid Games.

JohnReese1999 3 Posted April 8, 2020 I´d love to see some classic WRC stages such aus Torsby (Sweden), Fafe (Portugal), Monte Lerno (Sardegna), Grafschaft (Germany), Wedding Bells (Australia), Ruuhimäki (Finland). Would be happy to see a Non-El-Condor-Argentina stage as well. Rally Turkey would be nice too.
ToMythTo 16 Posted April 8, 2020 If they just add top 10 features requested in the forum, maybe along with physics upgrade, there will no need for dr3.
DTSShiny 0 Posted May 30, 2020 North Wales (Clocaenog, Brenig) Manx Rally Keilder. You've got an old British Rally Championship then. I'd prefer to see more unique mileage for the current locations, basically just expanded the current locations. Options such as a Summer Monte or snow in Wales. I'd also go for longer stages with less screen candy for the future or at least saying the current level is fine - fancy pants skies do look stunning, but wouldn't you prefer an extra mile on each stage? WestHam66 56 Posted June 2, 2020 (edited) Keep every location from Dirt Rally and Dirt Rally 2.0, but add Kenya, Italy, Portugal, Cyprus, Corsica and another. Maybe Mexico, Turkey, Jordan or Japan? I'd like an option to be able to turn off a location. I'm awful on Poland, so I'd like to be able to replace it with one of the DLC locations I've got. I abandon a championship with Poland in it, but it would be more convenient to be able to take it off the rotation. StefanBellof90 1 Posted June 4, 2020 I would keep all the 13 locations that already exist. Plus, I would like to have Safari Rallye Kenia (of course gravel), Rallye Portugal (gravel), Rallye Cyprus (gravel) and Rallye San Remo (tarmac). Then it would also be good to have a longer championship season with more than 12 rallies. And it would be nice to have much longer stages. What about 20-30 km stages? It's basically a problem of all the rallye games that the stages are way too short.
Dunoon 65 Posted June 10, 2020 I would like all the locations back, with the same stages, but with additional new stages at each location.
Dribbleworks 0 Posted June 13, 2020 Keep: USA New England, New Zealand, Australia, Greece, Finland, Wales, Scotland, Sweden Lose: Spain, Monaco, Argentina As an additional feature in the game, add the original Colin McRae 2.0 tracks exactly as they are, but with modern graphics. Wider roads, and no fog. The Dirt Rally 2 'trailblazer' stages are still the most fun to date.
gtmission 1 Posted July 10, 2020 for my part I will be happy to find the rally of Monte Carlo. It is difficult but the particularity of its surfaces (snow ice road) makes it really an essential for each of the dirt rallies. Now it could be fleshed out with a few extra specials
