Just thought these might be of use to some (and further back up my point about keeping W10 UP TO DATE)

it does not affect everyone, the fix is relatively simple (or you can choose to rollback the update) and it will be fixed in the 'D' update (expected w/c 23/09).

The mic fix will only be applied if your machine is affected, it is not available either as standalone or via WU.
