Mulitplayer Disqualifying Issue

Recommended Posts

OK...it doesn't take long to figure out the logic behind how lobbies work, and so it is with Multiplayer Lobbies.  So to avoid securing a postion via qualifying, folks with major skill ratings are purposely disqualifying themsellves in order to outsequence those who expend considerable energies qualifying for race position.  WE ALL KNOW that when you end the race, if your finised postion is below that which you qualify and the folks below you are of a higher skill rating, you will lose points and vice versa for points gained. So folks with higher skill ratings are purposely slowing down during qualifying, or cutting corners to gain either a No Time or Disqualification on purpose. This should STOP, or the game should have an algorithm that weed out those folks and group them by themselves, despite Saftety Rating.  This sillyness should stop - QUALIFY PROPERLY PEOPLE!

Come on, no takes on this topic??!!! You know who you are and why you do it!

Ranked is absolutely busted.  I understand you cant have a marshall there, but it is so bad. I was a high A and close to S and now I'm back down at C.  There is no benefit to fighting to race clean to get to a good rating again only to sit in empty lobbies.

Allowing all the assists and not black flashing egregious drivers is a joke.

well a lot of people also don't qualify to avoid the 1st corner carnage after the start.....since the game punishes you even when people crash into you from behind, a lot of guys prefer to DNQ in qualify, start slowly from the back and avoid all the chaos

Good point. In weeklies with full grids, starting at the front is really sketchy on some tracks, too.

Sadly says a lot about a racing game which rewards you for not trying. Not just this game its on line in general people are more interested in the rewards /points not the actual racing experience. I was trying to get my safety rating up in project cars 2 but every time I actually beat anyone they immediately drop out even if a close and exciting race because losing points is more important to them than racing itself. Or they turn up and qualify 1st easy then don't bother to race as there's too much risk of getting hit by an idiot behind. Literally seems if you are ranked high the best way to keep your ranking is not to race at all.

Apart from the fail to qualify part, I agree with the rest, as it's what I  follow.
