It now has performance parity with the version sold on Steam for (at times) half as much, but without the burden of DLC, 2D options or other people to compete against.

I haven't noticed any difference or improvement before 1.9 update?
What does Chaperone set up mean?
And now I'm asking specifically for the Oculus Store version because it seems that the Steam version with oculus VR now works even better?

Hi @Ukki1 I have both Steam and Oculus Home version. I see no differences after 1.9 update between Steam version 1.9 with Oculus SDK and the Oculus Home version.
They both work great for me and equally I would say.
