mesa 624 Posted October 24, 2019 Thanks. Hmmm. Interesting. I'll try to drive into the water by another angle to see what happens... New posts within a short time frame are limited. Please wait 12 seconds before submitting.
ViperTheRapper 8 Posted October 24, 2019 There must have been improvements since DR1 bc using the same driving style in DR2.0 Wales caused me to spin the car around in the water. In New England I had no problems with the puddles, maybe they are more shallow, or higher speed. The puddle at the end of Sweet Lamb is particularly dangerous if I'm not careful.
lastbreath 466 Posted December 27, 2019 So, open-world Forza can have even small puddles and DiRT now can't have even big ones with water physics? Is it true that old Codemasters employees moved to Forza team? Coz it explains a lot.
Johnnnn 184 Posted December 27, 2019 LOL, at least I am not the only one who plays it here 😄 I had a problem with dirt there a lot. Do you think that dirt simulation is real? It feels like bumpy tarmac for me but nobody helped me with it yet and I am not expert on dirt at all.

The Wales puddles are the worst, but you can do the same in New England if you're doing the route with the puddle at the end of the stage. Going the same stage with it in the first split doesn't seem to cause much issue, but hitting it reverse I've definitely noticed when I didn't hit it straight on and could feel it pulling me off the line
