Control devices gone

So game was working great, had all my stuff listed; Heasinkveld pedals, Simucube, Ailogs, etc, but tonight they are all just shown as "direct input" with a symbol next to them like an oval with a line through it.

Clicking on them the only option is to delete, and reloading they do not reappear. Any idea what has happened please?
I have made no changes and everything works as it should in everything else, I assume a Grid update has done this?
