Online Deluxe content no more accessible?

Hi everyone,

I think I've a problem with online events: some of them are not accessible to me, but it seems like they should be.

For information, I've bought the PC deluxe version, and those two events with the "D+" in the picture bellow should be available to me, am I wrong?
Left event: 1 country, Spain, Group A
Right event: 4 countries, FWD H1

But wen I launch them, a message tells me that I have to buy the Season 3 Pass to access the events:

In addition, in the first picture, I was able to start the monthly event that starts with Spain, and with a Group A car! Many events have the same issue.
So I don't understand why I can't access those "D+" events. For me, I should.

Am I wrong or I missed something?

• D+ events are time-limited according to the season they were in.
• We are now in Season 3, therefore challenges are open to Season 3 owners only.

So why is it that D+ events do not use season 3 content? And season 1-2 content too. It makes no sense that events that are only open to DLC owners do not use the DLC.

Community Events & AI Challenges

• D+ Banner: These events allow current Season owners to earn double credits, but only use ‘on disc’ content. Bear in mind that base rewards are based on event length when being compared to one another.

 

Special Events

• Bonus Banner: These events cycle through all DLC Content, from Seasons 1-3 (with a slight emphasis on the newest DLC). These are available however you have purchased the content , whether you have a bought a Season or a single piece of content.
• Promo Banner: These events allow any player (whether they own DLC or not) to experience a DLC location.

 

The events with D+ Banners are colour-coded based on what Season they form a part of:

• Red:
  Season 1
  March 12 to June 3
• Cyan:
  Season 2
  June 4 to August 26
• Orange:
  Season 3
  August 27 to November 18
• Pink:
  Season 4
  November 19 to end of Season 4 (date tbc)

 

We are currently in Season 3, so Season 3 events appear. Seasons 1 & 2 are complete and had D+ events run throughout their time as current Seasons.

That does not answer the question of WHY the D+ events only use ‘on disc’ content. Why do they not also include the DLC that is required to access them? I don't understand. To me it would increase the value of the DLC I bought to have more online events with DLC, we already have the no banner events and AI events with base game content only.

Since you apparently don't know the answer, could you ask someone who does and then let us know? Or even better, ask them to change the situation which makes no sense currently.

Ok, so D+ events are reserved to actual Season Pass owners, to earn more credits. Thanks for your response PJTierney.

On the other hand, the message that explains us that we must buy the season pass 3 to access the event is misleading. At least on the French version. This makes us think that it is the fact of not having the content (country, cars) that prevents us from accessing it.

It should rather indicate "event" reserved to the owners of the season pass 3, instead of "content". And inform that it is reserved for them because it allows to have more credits.

It would be much more understandable.

This is strange. If you Buy deluxe edition right now, there is in description "high reward events" but you don´t receive it, because they are no longer available. there is not any info that it is time limited.

when will fix ??? - rally Wales, almost all special stages . the dust effect disappears !!! I play on xbox one x.

This situation with the D+ events suddenly being taken away when Season 3 launched is very unfriendly to the customer who bought the original Deluxe version.  It is a marketing error from CM as the way it was explained and sold was and is still confusing.

The original D+ events should still be available with an added tier of events for D++ or Season 3. Very unfair and many customers are rightfully annoyed or angry about it.
