Monaco times are completely unrealistic

Recommended Posts

So today I wanted to smash some times at Monaco so I went to the leaderboard and used the 2nd one as a ghost, after about 5 seconds when I looked at his setup I noticed that that was just the regular setup(almost) so I started my lap and saw that he uses every wall to slide with it. I also tried and it even worked. That's a huge problem because the first 2 did this and the 3rd would be first if the system was working properly. Please codemasters fix the system, its horrible to drive when you can't beat a time without cheating. Have you experienced this on other tracks?

The game awards cheats and assist users in every single way. There's a reason real F1 drivers don't use the walls to go faster... It would destroy their cars. What you mention sounds like what used to happen in Gran Turismo games where you'd have to use walls to beat certain races! F1 game is heavily biased towards GAMING not RACING sadly.

Yep. Damage needs to be default in Time Trial, without a doubt. I'm sure it happens at other tracks, but they won't fix it.

The Dirt Rally team is resetting a leaderboard because of this sort of ****. The F1 team couldn't care less.

Damage is definitely on im sure? Hitting a wall will damage the car its just that wall riding doesn't use real world friction physics modeling im sure. If damage is actually completely off that's both hilarious and tragic at the same time...
