F1 mobile freezes at loading screen after update

I’m facing a problem, the game freezes at the loading screen. Just installed update 9 and the patch as well. I’m using iPhone 6s plus, iOS 13.2

Any one else facing the same issue?

Yes, needed to delete and reload twice so far on iPad...

I'm having the same issue.  I haven't tried deleting the game and reloading it because my concern I might lose game progress and purchases.

OK, so I deleted the game and reloaded it.  Work fine now.

Thanks for the advice - just lost a year's worth of data and credits - all gold medals and was qualifying nicely for the new event.  Any chance of getting my profile back Chris Groves?

Locking up again today, seems you need to reinstall every time shut down.

Also my iPhone was extremely hot this morning, as if the app didn't shutdown and ran all night.

Sorry to see that, others are reporting the same.

Happened to me last May, took a month but they were able to restore.

Same for me. iPhone 11 latest update on phone and latest patch on game. Hangs on same as op. Removed and reinstall doesn’t work. If I minimise the app a go back I can get in but I can’t do anything in game.

There is only one fix to this problem and it’s deleting and reinstall the game this still won’t fix the problem with the festive pass but means the events can be ran this the only work work around there

Reinstalling works. But just for one session (and it also deletes all pb:s).

I have yet to load the latest iOS update and now qualifying duels leave me hanging at the “waiting for player” screen- meanwhile I can hear but not see the race begin.

It won’t let me delete the message. Soon as I try to swipe left to get the delete button, the inbox screen closes.
