Use this thread to discuss and share tips about the following Achievements 🙂 

 

 

• Rainmeister - Take victory in Hell, Norway, in the rain.
   
• Launch Event - Complete a lap in under 39 seconds at the Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, in a 2019 RX Supercar.
   
• The Cartel -Win an event at 8 unique Rallycross locations using Bakkerud's or Doran's Audi S1 EKS RX quattro.
   
• New Achievement: Sunday Driver - Win a World Rallycross Championship Final with AI set to 100, in cockpit view, with assists disabled.
  (Note: Must be done in the FIA World Rallycross Championship game mode)

Enquiring as to the exact set of conditions and settings needed to unlock the Sunday Driver achievement (on Xbox)

I've entered a World RX season, in freeplay mode, and skipped the rounds up til Hell (I find this is the easiest track for beating the AI)

I had AI set to 100, and realistic damage set On

I had sequential manual gears, and every other assist set to Off

I made it through the heats, won my semi-final, and won the Final, yet no achievement popped

Am i missing something, or is this bugged?

I am on PS4 and have just done EXACTLY the same as you: World Championship, difficulty 100, hardcore damage on, all assists off (including clutch kick) and manual sequential gears.

I skipped to Hell as well, came 5th in the heats, first in the semi and first in the final: the trophy popped as soon as I clicked "continue" after the final. 

Could it be bugged on X-Box?

I had "Unexpected Moments" on as well: maybe that makes a difference?

I unlocked an achievement the other day but the notification did not pop up on screen and I first thought too that it didn't unlock, so I was wondering if I missed something. Later I checked the achievement list and it wasn't there anymore, so I unlocked the achievement but it didn't show on screen. Check your recently unlocked achievements. I'm on Xbox as well btw.

I take the trophy today. But the Abu Dhabi it is little difficult. Any suggestions?

I think the 2019 cars are going to be faster, so that trophy might be easier once the latest cars start to drop: I intend to try that one on Tuesday with the 2019 Audi!

So I tried again today, and did literally everything the same as i tried yesterday, just with the Kristofferson Polo instead of the Ekstrom Audi, and the achievement unlocked straight after i won the final and continued

How strange. Someone at Codemasters isn't an EKS fan?

The rules state that the first six positions in event standings are determined by position in the final...

Can anyone help?

Yes, the AI are in the latter cars: my statement was in relation to the Abu Dhabi lap time trophy, not the winning a final one!

Event position is based on where you placed in the intermediate standings, semi-final and the final. 

I wonder if you need to win both the final and the event in order to unlock the trophy?

You’re right man, I’ve won the final several times but no trophy for me because of my event standings. Codemasters need to clarify this or fix bug. 
 

Also, can’t seem to enable Unexpected Moments for WRC, only in Custom...?

yeah they should clarify that. it says you need to win a World RX Championship Final, which implies just winning the final race, not necessarily the whole event.

unexpected moments can only be changed in custom event. maybe also in clubs?

Update: I have won the Hell event in the WRC with 100 AI and no assists. Finished 3rd in heats and the won semi and the final.

Everything was disabled (including External Cameras), and you were in cockpit view?

I unlocked mine at Hell.

Yes, all assists disabled including the external cameras. There are three different cockpit cams though, right? It doesn’t matter which you use?

I used the default helmet camera, as I wondered if moving between the available cameras might affect the trophy.
