HoksuHoo 563 Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) Windshield wipers constantly go on for no reason, whether they are automatic or not. This happens with all cars (except crosskart) and all locations. They periodically do a single swipe. Surely when you have windshield wipers on manual you should have full control over them? It's not the case at the moment. What platform you're playing on (for PC also state Steam, Microsoft or Oculus): Steam What your PC setup/build is like (graphics card, processor etc.): 1230v3, GTX 1070, 16gb ram, SSD, Windows 10, SB Z If you're playing on PC, state whether you're in 2D or VR: 2D. 2560x1440 resolution Whether or not you have any non-standard peripherals connected, like steering wheels, gaming mice etc: Logitech G920 steering wheel+shifter Edited December 16, 2019 by HoksuHoo 1
HoksuHoo 563 Posted December 16, 2019 Sometimes in rain, windshield wipers stop working and don't go back on by pressing the button. This happens when they are in "manual" mode, turning them to auto gets them back on. HoksuHoo 563 Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) Finland has a terrible looking fog effect in daytime. Daytime/clear is bad enough and daytime/overcast is even worse. As someone who lives in Finland I can tell you this is not realistic at all in those conditions, and it looks awful. The fog needs to be removed. After that some more weather options for Finland wouldn't hurt Clear daytime should look like this. Notice how there is no fog at all, landscape is crystal clear even at long distance whereas in the game it's foggy only a short distance from your car Or like these fake promo images. How about making the real game look like that as well Overcast daytime should look something like this. Again no fog at all What platform you're playing on (for PC also state Steam, Microsoft or Oculus): Steam What your PC setup/build is like (graphics card, processor etc.): 1230v3, GTX 1070, 16gb ram, SSD, Windows 10, SB Z If you're playing on PC, state whether you're in 2D or VR: 2D. 2560x1440 resolution Whether or not you have any non-standard peripherals connected, like steering wheels, gaming mice etc: Logitech G920 steering wheel+shifter Edited December 16, 2019 by HoksuHoo 1
HoksuHoo 563 Posted December 16, 2019 When using the lowest field of view setting, in Lancia Stratos the cockpit view clips through the rollcage. The default position is too much forward and you can't move it backwards. The driver position adjust is too limited, it should allow further movement and also movement backwards from default position What platform you're playing on (for PC also state Steam, Microsoft or Oculus): Steam What your PC setup/build is like (graphics card, processor etc.): 1230v3, GTX 1070, 16gb ram, SSD, Windows 10, SB Z If you're playing on PC, state whether you're in 2D or VR: 2D. 2560x1440 resolution Whether or not you have any non-standard peripherals connected, like steering wheels, gaming mice etc: Logitech G920 steering wheel+shifter
MoerasGrizzly 2 Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) minor UI oversight: Renault alpine is displayed in the UI as a front-engine, rear wheel drive. IRL it's a rear-engined rear wheel drive. The renault 5 turbo is a mid engined car (like the stratos) but the uI displays it as a front-engined car as well. The lancia stratos, by contrast, is displayed correctly the BMW m1 turbo - front-engine display, but it's a mid engine too. Porsche 911 RCS - front-engine display, but it's famously rear-engined IRL Finally, the Speedcar Extrem is displayed as a front engine, but there's definitely no room for an engine in the car's nose 😛 - yup, it's mid/rear engined as well. The first time was playing with a Lancia Fulvia and again with a Subaru. The video I posted was when I played with the Subaru WRX STI. JorritVD 1,236 Posted December 17, 2019 (edited) Just saw this clip (Throneful is a pretty poor driver, but that is not the bug here). This clip kinda confirms to me that the "unexpected moments" are triggered and track specific made. At least I noticed these: - Abu Dhabi: Always bumpers and things fall off when the AI (but in this case also the player) hits the high curbs. It seems the high curbs have a trigger to lett fall down parts, like the rear bumper, when that not even hits the curb. - Lydden Hill: It seems the final to last corner (when the gravel section starts) triggers an AI player (the one who is in 1st place) looses a wheel. - Barcelona: After the joker section, an AI player can get a flat tyre At the moment the real bug is shown in the video (for steam it seems), but also the parts randomly falling of the car at Abu Dhabi is a bit annoying bug. HoksuHoo 563 Posted December 17, 2019 This just keeps happening. Just crashed twice in the same career rally event. It only happens in online related modes, not in freeplay. Usually after completing a stage when uploading stage time, but has happened elsewhere too. Has happened in career menu, and in test drive. My game is not modified in any way, and I have all DLC enabled. Have tried verifying files on Steam and reinstalling but that doesn't fix the problem. Have sent what must be damn near 20 error reports by now. And the FAQ link still doesn't work.
