Short gameplay/guide from me. The Ford's quite nice to drive once you tune in some agility.

It's more fun going sideways though! :classic_laugh:

Of the 2019 cars the Audi is unquestionably my favourite looking (I am torn between using the Bakkerud, Doran or Larsson liveries), though I will be trying the other two tonight to see how they compare in terms of lap times. 

Perhaps my imagination, but the 2019 S1 seems more stable when riding the curbs than the 2018 S1? Has the revised suspension been modelled?...

Doran's livery is my go to.

Normally I would have gone for the Audi, but it seem a nice first challenge to do it with the Fiesta and stay within the track limits. But for my taste the STARD Fiesta has the best sounding engine 🙂

Different driving styles can be done with the cars. That is quite fun. But if ever tyre degradation and tyre sets for RX will be introduced, than a more clean way might become more effective for a full event.

I actually also quite like Ekstrom's livery. Althoug the back and front are a bit boring, the red stands out 😄

After my first evening with the cars the Audi feels a bit slow. Although I already had that with the 2018 spec, in the end it is fast as it seems to corner and accelerate well. The RXS Evo 5 Fiesta seems a bit slower and need to push more and muscle it through the corners (it seems a bit more understeery). As with the OMSE 2018 MK8, it has a bit lack of power in the lower revs, meaning it kinda stalls sometimes if you not have enough revs. But it has the best sound imo 😛. I only drove the 208 once although I think that might be the fastest car of the three 2019 cars for now and drives quite natural.

Maybe it is nice to put it in a blog or something to tell what has been changed. For now it seems all three cars have new sounds, the 208 and S1 have adjusted cockpits (Fiesta is basically new is every aspect), and adjusted/new physics.

Yeah, I thought the Audi felt a little bit slower, but more stable when hard cornering (the Loheac joker is where I really noticed it). 

I'd say the Peugeot 208 should be the fastest, but I definitely don't think that was the case with the 2018 cars. 

Agree about tyre wear as well @JorritVD, that would add a whole new dimension to the rallycross!

I also tried "Launch Event" yesterday but unlike all of you I was using standard lap and for me it was faster way to get around the track. And also I did it with 208

Yes, it is also possible to take with the normal lap. But if you start from the joker lap you have an little bit easier and faster flow as with circuit racing 🙂 it should be even possible with standing start as the Supercars launches that fast.

Did a bit of experimentation between the cars last night. I haven't played with setup yet, but with the default settings I am setting my fastest 2019 lap times in the Fiesta. Can't remember if I read it here or on the Discord, but the Fiesta definitely has a unique power delivery.

Did a few back-to-back drives in the 2018 and 2019 S1: the 2019 S1 definitely seems more planted (and less inclined to oversteer). Sounds fierce on the overrun as well! I am yet to break any of my fastest 2018 lap times in a 2019 car though.

Would be nice to get some detailed information about what has changed with the 2019 cars.

Also what's with AI drivers not using World RX liveries? Bug? Looks a bit silly when opponents are using plain liveries rather than racing liveries

Yep, it's very noticeable and pronounced in the Fiesta. It seems to have too much turbo-lag which shouldn't be the case in my view, so to prevent the car from bogging down just shorten final drive or take corners in a lower gear than usual.

I really like the Audi most. The blow off valve sound in the 2018 version already was music, the latest version has that beautiful turbo chirp when downshifting. Love it.

I think currently the AI drivers are added, because there are only nine 2019 liveries. Probably when all 2019 cars are released, than you will be able to compete against other 2019 RX AI cars.

I believe this is correct.

It’s also why the 2019 cars aren’t currently available in the FIA World Rallycross Championship mode. I think we’re adding all that in in Version 1.12 in January 🙂

Is it only me who finds the AI relatively weak? I select the difficulty from very difficult, and look at the advance I have in the final ... and it's even worse on a wet track. It's not funny.
