literally every single dirt game wont launch

So i will go to launch any dirt game and it will pull up the splash screen, then a gray screen for like 2-5 secconds and then it will close. 

i have tried Dirt 2, Dirt 3 complete edition, Dirt rally, Dirt 4 and dirt rally 2.0. all of them do the same thing exept for dirt rally 2.0, that game i have through xbox game pass on pc and it gives me "game services" on the windows store to download. i have downloaded this multiple times and each time it wont download. it says "installed" half the time and the other half it has a download button. it will download then say installed, if i close it half the time it will say installed and half the time it will give me another download button. even when it says installed it does nothing. 

i have tried reinstalling games and no progress. someone on the Dirt 3 steam fourms said that i could try to download something called "OpenAL" which did nothing. kinda at a loss. anyone know the issue. i would really like to go back to the old dirt games and try them out.
