Kinda looks like this :

Since 1997 the RSAC Scottish Rally has been solely based in Dumfries & Golloway, not Perth & Kinross, so it’s unlikely. But then again, Whaanga Coast road is in Waikato not Hawkes Bay so you never know!

I find this interesting:
The scenarios take place in nine of the cars made famous throughout Colin’s career, including many iconic vehicles from previous Colin McRae Rally and DiRT games.

Can someone say to me which nine cars these are?

I have :

Peugeot 205 GTI
Ford Sierra RS
Subaru Legacy RS
Subaru Impreza 555
Subaru Impreza WRC 97-98
Ford Focus 2001
Skoda Fabia WRC

So there's two missing. From the trailer I guess the Metro is one of them. Maybe the other one is a Porsche ?

The blog post mentions the MINI Cooper S in scenario mode and the trailer, as you say, heavily implies the MG Metro 6R4.

SS1 - Craigvinean
SS2 - Drummond Hill
SS3 - Errochty
SS4 - Drummond Hill 2 (some parts of the stage the same as SS2 + different sections)

SS5 - Craigvinean 2 (some sections the same as SS1 or reversed + some different roads).

The blog post already mentions the following for Scenario mode;

  • MINI Cooper S
  • Peugeot 205 GTI
  • Ford Sierra Cosworth
  • Subaru Impreza 1995
  • Subaru Impreza S4 (implied)
  • Ford Focus RS 2001

The following I'd also expect;

  • MG Metro 6R4 (new livery, trailer describes McRae's antics in one)
  • Subaru Legacy (new car)
  • Skoda Fabia (McRae livery already in-game)

One thing to point out that isn't in the blog:

  • If you own the FLAT OUT pack but don't have any of the cars/Locations from the Seasons, you'll still be able to play the Scenarios that feature them.

Hopeful guesses or is this confirmed somewhere? I’d love it if it were those stages.

Also, @PJTierney can you confirm that Scotland will be available in all the normal game modes, not just exclusive to the Flat Out challenges?

Really looking forward to having Scottish stages in my career - huge thanks team (would happily have paid!)

Scenario challenges aren't my sort of thing, but the cars are great too - are you able to let us know what classes the new cars will be in please PJ?

Wondering if this sort of deal opens the door to CMR2020 or beyond...?

This is the forest you need to be looking at :classic_wink:

It's pretty safe to assume that the Legacy will be a Group A car, as that's exactly what it is.

As for the Impreza S4, it's technically built to World Rally Car Regulations so that suggests it's in the World Rally Car 2000cc class, but it's age would make it a big outlier there - if you're looking for more appropriate competition IMO then put it in the same class as the Evo VI

Nice. 😊👍🏻

13 locations are good, but still one location to go to be even with WRC8. 😉

Now, is it possible to get a statistics page in the game with total driven kilometres and total time spent in each car model and each location in each game mode, it would be splendid. Add a hot seat mode for custom championship and time trial as well, and the game is easily the best rally game ever made up until now, hands down. 😁

Looking foreward to Scotland and hope I can make a custom championship with all 13 in one go!
