How did you eliminate the random bouts of understeer? I've been trying all sorts of extremes but haven't been able to sort it.

Some say that his toes are made out of tiny wheels, and that he fixed the understeer of the Renault 5 Turbo... All we know is, he's called Dgeesio!
You can't really fix the understeer on that thing, the setup can only do so much. What you can do is adjust to it; when I drove it I found I had to slow down like mad and make good use of the handbrake for tight corners.

i drive it with a loose differential.as porky says you cant fix the under steer but you can work with it with practice.

just use the cars weight like a pendulum on hair pins. dont worry i been swearing at it aswell  :D

I'll give it a go. It's just weird to have that sort of power at the rear and still require the use of the handbrake or excessive momentum, especially when compared to the Sierra and E30.

Swing it! :)

Kinda wish i'd chosen the R5 for the weekly now, just for this challenge :)   Chose the Sierra instead but oddly liking it, maybe it's Porkies setup :D
You're too kind. ;) I've also made really sweet setups for it in Greece and Sweden. It just feels so alive with a nice setup.

Speaking of the Ford Sierra, here's an all-out max attack on the Lysvik stage, scoring a 5:36.053. Probably would've gotten a 5:35.8xx if I hadn't goofed about right before the finish line, but yeah. The setup felt amazing, it's in my workshop.
