Mentioned this solution in another topic. It’s not the real thing, but at least it’s something.

If they all don't lag out or other weird stuff🤣 wouldn't be the best advertising for CM

They should also turn Ai on in online! Would be funny as hell! 🤣

I'm going to laugh really hard when a few drivers get a green light 2 seconds earlier at the start. 🤣

I see there's reduced damage and TC /ABS available to drivers. Sorry but that sounds boring to watch to me, takes away the whole excitement of the real thing entirely. I saw Lando and Max race live on Twitch yesterday (iracing) and it was a demolition derby. They were obviously having a blast but not many skills were on show, mostly the 2 F1 drivers trying to wreck each other! Lando won the dirty driver award by a mile, cutting across the inner track area (Sonoma Raceway) to ram the whole field on the start /finish straight. Of course they had their buddys doing admin deleting black flag and penalties after wrecking. Was amusing for a short while but the lack of actual racing made it pointless. Highlight for me was Lando getting pole by over 2 second. Classy on the limit driving!

Only a few F1 drivers ever bother to play video racing games. Lando Norris and Verstappen may have a leg up on the competition in that respect.  So it's a learning curve for most of them, that's why going forward it should be an F1 requirement that F1 drivers spend time playing F1 games and in a very serious fashion.

I guess the next generation already is serious about it and I was amazed hearing  Verstappen decline on this event stating he never played this game and didn’t want to drive in the backfield because or the learning curve.

My opinion is the lack of interest by real f1 drivers speaks in deafening volume to the realism in the f1 game. Perhaps if the game was closer to the simulation tools the drivers use to develop their cars, and multiplayer was more reliable and less bug ridden there would be more interest and uptake.

For casuals and fanboys/girls no doubt the game is amazing, for the more serious simracer and f1 fans the game is a bad joke, best avoided.

I'm fairly sure that was nothing but a polite excuse. He said "it would take days to understand this game", and coming from such a natural racing talent (offline & online), it simply means that the game is so far from realism that he doesn't want to learn it, either.

Absolutely. I've seen Lando stream F1 2019. The last time he played no longer than 14 mins before quitting shouting 'THIS game..! "

Then it first has to be a GOOD, STABLE, and REALISTIC game without all the bugs, and with good online lobbies.

why do you think all the teams have those fancy expensive simulators? I would like to have one of those in my house.
