AMSKRR
I have high hopes so long as Roy picks the right players. Drop Rooney and play Barkley. Scoring a tap in against Ecuador should not warrant a starting XI place. Against Italy he should play:______________Hart________________Johnson__Cahill__Jagielka__Baines________Gerrard______Henderson______Sterling_____Barkley_____Lallana______________Sturridge_____________Maybe swap Henderson for Wilshere, but I think that could be a decent team. If Oxlade-Chamberlain is fit, then play him over Sterling, but that line up has pace and looks decent.I also think that in our final game before Italy, Roy should try Jones in CDM. He performed well there for United when he played there. Wouldn't be ideal, but Wilshere and Henderson have hardly been outstanding so far. AMSKRR
BBC have made a "Pick your World Cup XI" (All time), this is mine:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-27699398#001023035016025055068090102106103This is the link to the creator in case you want it (below). I made mine based on what they achieved in the world cup only. Maldini for example, never won a WC, same with CR7 and a few others, so they were not selected. Some of the so called "experts" included CR7 over some other legends. God knows why. There is no formation really, just 11 slots with a minimum of 3 defenders and 3 midfielders (max of 5 mids) and a minimum of 2 strikers with a max of 3. So basically, 4-4-2, 4-3-3 or 3-5-2 I think, although I am not entirely sure on the specific positions of them all, I think I got the back 4 right, midfield is all CM's and the attack is out of position a bit, but honestly it doesn't matter when those three are there.Link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-27699398

AMSKRR
Good team, although for me Buffon isn't even second choice if I had to make a bench. Thinking about it, Yashin is probably better than Banks, so I might well be better off with him in goal. I think Yashin was the only keeper to win the Ballon'dor which is pretty interesting and surprising. It's funny how you hear of the greats like Pele, but many people don't know who Lev Yashin is, despite being perhaps the greatest keeper of all time. Any common football fan knows who Pele is, but if you asked them who Yashin is, I'd bet money on most of them not having a clue.
