Well Then.
Pikes? Weeeell.. 1st run was.. okay-ish, felt really comfortable, just many mistakes and cautiousness.. 2nd run? My brake pedal broke. I wonder who will pay the insurance.. the SUV driver for parking like an idiot or me?

Wager - Satisfying run, but knowing what car/stage it was, i am actually somewhat surprised how many good times there are ahead. Have not driven this car much, however.

First run of PP I managed to go off in the first corner, so just treated it as a training run. Retired about 60% in when I tried taking a corner way too fast just to see if it was possible.
Second run was great, really felt like a new PB was coming. Then I held just a tiny bit too much power too early on a fast lefthander and slid just a tiny bit wide, lost traction on the front right wheel and slid off straight into a rock and got terminal damage.
I am quite assured that a squirrel was hiding behind the rock.

Daily 1: RS200. I had a 2:58 in mind, some late braking changed that though, so I had to settle for a 3:00 dead.
Daily 2: Metro. Same stage. 3:03 in practice. False start and ALT-F4 on daily, tehe. heh

I knew it!  :o :o :o :o :o Got ya!
You do realise that ALT-F4ing a daily event means that I can't re-do it, right?

Pretty happy with my PB on PP yesterday, it's slow, but i was happy with the 8:57

Really enjoyed the 20th place for the Manta though, almost 99% certain that i was running @Porkhammer's Sweden setup though :(

Double Monte Carlo daily again!? Bah!
Same, same...I really don't get it. Have they signed some sort of contract with the Monte people to promote it?
There's absolutely no reason to shove it down our throats like that. I've had at least 3 days now over the last 2 weeks where I didn't do any daily, because I absolutely detest Monte.
And it's always just Monte. Haven't seen a double Greece/Germany/whatever so far...
Strange stuff going on with our Codies heading up to the Console release.

I think the dailies are on some sort of RNG autopilot until the patch arrives, I know that most of the Dirt team is extremely busy at the moment.

Yes, but it does perhaps mean you do it with other online events or leagues as well. and it shows you only care about fast times, thus exploiting the gamemechanics etc to set fast times, so you don't want immersion/realistic experience. And you do care about your reputation/image. ;) but hej, tha't's what I see.
I ragequit, yes. This I have admitted openly numerous times. But I have not taken advantage of it in leagues, weekly or monthly events - but you're of course free to be paranoid about that. It doesn't surprise me seeing as you're paranoid about everyone else. If it makes you sleep better at night, it's all good.

And, for your information, I only "care about fast times" for the daily events - if it's a league, weekly, or monthly event, I try to keep a decent pace and be consistent without crashing. Try taking a look at my weekly and monthly times once in a while and you'll see that it's nothing special - and perhaps it will save you a heartburn or two. ;)

I will miss that safety-net - lol

Did the daily's, on the console, with 2 new liveries, 1st time using DiRT with a pad... :)

Apart from in-game, will the Console Events show on Racenet also? @Hatward ?

OMG, what the hell setup did i have in the Daily Delta?!

I span out on the very first corner!!!

So much rear brake bias and strength, and it's setup means the back end will come out like the 037's just turning in.  It's not setup i've ever used/downloaded for the 6R4 - I think CM might be trolling us with this one :(

RS200 Daily wasn't much better as i was so wary of it's handling after the 6R4 (despite it not being as bad)  I basically wrecked the car before getting to the end.

Mine was the opposite! Had a nice run in the Metro & nearly killed the RS200 every time I braked!!

The daily is stuck. Monte4Ever. :(

(Probably not forever, but the random event generator, or whatever it is, need some tuning...and I completly understand that won't happen 'till after the console release.)

Same here. Had a great run with the Metro and had a puncture in the RS200 about a third way through
Also, enough with the damn Gordolon already. In the last 4 days 7 out of 8 daily tracks were Gordolon

Daily: Trying a little too hard in some corners, I'm guessing I lost about 1.5-2 seconds in total.
Owners' club: A little clumsy, but I reckon the time set is very quick indeed.

Daily: Took some time to find a good rhythm (see: hairpins), then it got better. Only 10 seconds behind the mighty Porkhammer, only 4 seconds out of the top 10. Not bad.

Owners: No real mistakes, but much too cautious. Hmm.

Deja Vu doesn't even cut it.  :/
Our lovely Codies should've hired a local student to set up their dailies. Give him a footlong sub as his daily salary and let him have some fun with the events.

Started off with delta daily. Had a 5:39 in practice.. with a spin. Thought this was going to be easy. Crashed less than a kilometer after the start. I have no idea why.

Daily M3: Thrid corner, too fast and too stupid. Straight into a tree and terminal damage.

Delta daily: I like my little integrale, so just went straight in after the M3 crash and just thought I'd drive and have fun. Didn't feel that fast, but a new PB at just under 5:56 and currently 4th place. Guess I'll end up at 15th place or so in the end, but that's the best place I've ever had on a daily :-D
