Don't know what to say about today's daily.. felt slow. I also managed to squeeze in a mis-shift there somewhere, so meh.

I actually managed to spin the Manta today, the slowest car of them all... shame. Had a 6:33-6:34 going. I was way ahead of my ancient PB set in the 037 in practice, but couldn't really finish a run. I blame the awkward suspension.

As someone who uses default setups all the time, even I found the suspension to be a bit weird in the Manta. I enjoy driving it so it didn't bother me much, but it seemed to rock back and forth over bumps.

That's actually pretty acurate. It was a bit rocky on some bumps and landings. Nevertheless, the dailys were really enjoyable. A clean run with the Manta, and so controllable. I don't think it would've been that fun with the 037. 51st out of almost 2300 is pretty good by my standards :)

The Focus daily was also good. Did stall it under braking twice though, but I don't think I lost much time because of that (and I wasn't even using the handbrake then) and also almost flew off the track at the very last corner, but held it (that would've been a bummer :D) I'm 90th out of 2200 in that daily, so again, not bad

Did the next set of dailys.
M3 currently 1st out of 25, I know it won't last long, but still feels good :)
6R4 for once had a good run in that car. Currently 5th out of  92

Well, my run with the Metro can be easily described with this:

Wrecked Metro daily, as expected. Pushing for a 5:35 does that I guess. Not really comfortable pushing cars that overreacts to steering inputs.

Oddly, @Porkhammer, the 6R4 is a car i note as needing all of it's steering input to negotiate a stage, i'm wondering if it's harder for you because of the low rotation you use.

I remember when i was using 900 that i really had to think and consciously use more steering input when i switched to the 6R4 otherwise i'd just fail to negotiate turns and correct slides :(

It's only the Ibiza, 037, and 6R4 that has hypersensitive steering with my 300 degrees, all the others cars are fine... so I don't know. Not going to change though, takes too long to adjust.

Yeah that's the weird thing though, the 6R4 does not have hyper sensitive steering!  It's one of the few cars that needs full lock used a lot.  I agree re the 037 though!

Metro is the car that needs a lot of input, but not too much. Aka it has a sweet spot where it responds nicely. Naturally it's a lot easier hitting that sweet spot with a massive DOR rather than a smaller one.

In short, don't give enough input, it doesn't steer. Give too much, it goes overboard. Give about enough... it does what you wanted it to do.

Focus daily: Had a clean but slow run, at least didn't have any spinouts, which doesn't happen often in Sweden :)
205 daily: That car ir just cray cray. Did a decent run, but still, it's just a bit too much for me

Daily: Sweet Lamb! Yay!
205! Yay!
Night ... f*ck.

Didn't go as well as I wanted it to... I really struggle with night stages in quick cars as I can't seem to position them properly. I simply can't see. After a cautious run and still managing some noob mistakes, I should be happy for being 2nd overall at the moment.

Owners' club: Mneh. Lost many, many seconds on noob mistakes. Shouldn't be trying so hard. I guess I should be happy for leading but... nah. Bad driving = bad mood.

Also, I've made it a habit to share my owner's club car setup... but today it didn't work. Apparently this 84 max workshop items means business. Screw you then, workshop! aaaa!

With some luck you can put a bit more setups on the workshop. I had 85 for months, but someday I could add 2 Alpine setups. So now 87. :open_mouth:
Alright, thanks for the info - I'll keep trying.

I got a notification yesterday saying I could have max 100, too bad this is limited. Probably gonna have to start saving them locally and unsubscribing from them.

Daily 1: Impreza WRX STi 2011 / Monaco: Went okay, had 2 atempt at it before running the daily, solid 7th position, not unhappy about it 2.4 sec off the leader

Daily 2: Hyundai i20 / Germany: Did very well in practice with a time of 3:15, after 3 attempts and feeling confident with the car ran the daily, got a bit cocky the last few corners, hit a rock, had to reverse, lost about 2,5 seconds, still surprised I had a 6th position even though I'm 5.4 seconds off the leader, I could have come second if it wasn't for that damn rock in the hairpin.

Well, this setup changing curse thing with the Subaru's continue. I actually managed a 3:12.5 in practice with a halfspin, so I was confident for a 3:10, 3:09 for the daily... but alas. Setup felt completely different from practice. I was given a soft, squishy, understeery setup - definitely not one of my own. I use stiff suspension and antirollbars even on gravel with the R4 cars, so what this make-belief dimwit setup came from I do not know. Needless to say I alt-f4'd the event after understeering into a wall too many.

Why does this even happen? And no, it has nothing to do with workshop - as I have yet to download a single setup from it, plus, as I've already said, none of my setups for this car feels like this on any surface.

Owners' daily: Bad final sector, other than that, nice. Still can't upload setups.

D1: Solid run an currently the lead, but some of the best guys are still missing on the leaderboard. So it probably won't last..
D1: Had exactely the same time as the current leader in my practice run. However, I throw it all away in the daily itself..

If you have a setup for the car in the Workshop (that includes your own that you shared) the game just loads one at random. If it's only one, then you keep always getting just that one (I had to drive Focus '07 in Greece with a Monte setup...). Apparently it doesn't matter if you reset it to defaults in custom event.

Also, keep in mind that a gravel setup will feel a lot more different on tarmac than it does on gravel. So I propose that you would try all your setups that you shared for that Scoobie on the same stage and find out which one was the closest in the handling. If that won't bring a solution, then there's only one thing left... slowbug.

Welp, looks like i've been chasing Ryu today, just a hand full of places behind in the Daily, and literally on his heals in the owners club in 10th.
Though i suspect that might end up being 9th as i'm hoping @Hatward can look at the current owners leader as he's 5 seconds faster than @Porkhammer....

Really surprised why he's not banned yet; normally Darren is swift with removing pricks from the leaderboard.

Daily: Sierra, Wales. Sh*t driving, mistakes in every corner only gave me a 3:00 time. With my target time being 2:58, I just decided to scrap it.
