D1: Could have been so much better. Clearly faster than current P1 in the first and last sector. But in sector 2 & 3, I went off  twice like hell and lost around 3 secs each. Could have gone sub 3mins easily, but I decided to drive very badly instead.

Delta integrale in wales is my favourite. Sadly I just went straight in without warmup after starting the game and was overconfident. Crashed out in the third corner and retired.

Went on to the C4 in Sweden. I wasn't at all familiar with the C4, hardly touched it after upgrading it. Thought I was sluggish and careful, but I'm currently 8th so I'm happy :-) There's a slight chance that I will actually achieve my goal of getting a top 10 finish :-)

C4 is very torquey, drives well if used that way.  Also, i very rarely, if ever, 'warm up' don't have the time :(

I managed to wreck the Integrale daily in an awkward spot, never happened in that corner before. Had a nice time in practice though; 2:50.

C4 daily went ok, I forgot to slow down for a 4th gear corner and tackled a snowbank... lost some time there for sure. Other than that, not too bad I reckon. We'll see.

I usually try to do one stage of my current championship before any online racing just to get used to the wheel.

Awesome daily run in the Lancia. Might hold on for my first 1st place on a daily.  Less than an hour to go. :)

Barely snuck in my Citroen Daily, as Racenet (for me) was down up until 10 minutes were left for June 27 set. Booo.
Somehow i have completely forgotten how to drive the C4, feeling very uncomfortable in it, at least with the default.

A year ago I was happy to just end up in the top tier :-)

Daily, 205 T16 on Verbundsring reverse, went straight to shit. I have managed to catch some weird flu paired with a summer cold, so I had to drive with an extremely sore throat, and a pounding head every time I move. Needless to say the driving was absolute garbage, had a 2:54 in mind and only managed a 2:58.6 on the daily, so I just grunted at the game and alt-f4'd it.

This flu should go home.

Both dailies went extremely well!

D1: First time ever I managed to do a rather clean run with the beast on my keyboard. Was very carful in the last few slippery corners and lost some time there. But overall, I am really pleased with my run.

D2: I really like this car. Although being lucky a couple of times, especially near the finish line haha. But made it through with a nice time.

In the 205 daily, the setup was messed up for me (maybe because I had Steam workshop setups for that car), the brake bias was more towards the rear, so under heavy braking it would oversteer. Had a spinout because of that.

Wagers was just meh, not bad and not good :D

Daily: Seldom in the mood for 216 kph topspeed with massive understeer on Pikes Peak, so skipping this one.
Owners': Nice enjoyable combo, but again the run was mistake riddled and I alt-f4'd it after finishing.

I drive very poorly when ill.

Max was faster, Haha. But I start to like the RWD cars, after more than one year in the field. =)

Subaru in Finland: 3:13 in practice, felt extremely comfortable with this track and car combination, flatout almost all the way. Is that a good sign for the event? No, usually not :) Off to moose & deer just after a flying sector 1! Haha

Daily: Skipping this one because it's well known by now that the R4 Subaru has bugged suspension, making it impossible to go at desired pace without bouncing off to Mars. I alt-f4'd before even finishing a practice run.

Delta: Lost a good chunk of time on noob mistakes, mostly due to being unable to cope with the massive understeer, and even managed to stall the engine at one point. Not happy with this at all.

Hoped for a more than decent run with the Hyundai, got only a decent one out of it. It was surprisingly floaty for a 2010s car and then the steering acting up a little for high speed turns. :/ No Confidence at all.

I remember the default setup for the Hyundai was awful indeed, don't know whether I'll attempt this daily.

I did do the 037 owners' club daily though, despite having an eye infection (!!) on top of my flu and cold. Went surprisingly well. I didn't expect to finish, let alone on top. I was shaking a bit afterwards as well, so I think that's enough Dirt for one day. I need more bedrest.

Basically my run in Greece, although I managed to roll the car twice... in the last split. I remember the car being a lot less floaty and giving a lot more confidence than that. Handling shenanigans are really annoying in racing games -_-

Aaah... a good wager, fixing my mistakes still wouldn't give me enough positions up, but i like this car waaaay too much. It just clicks with me much more often than other cars.

Gave the Hyundai a go in the daily after fixing my T500 ffb problems and managed to finish in the top tier, nearly fell off my chair when I got the reward as I wasn't going at Porkhammer speed

D1: 3:16 in practice, out in the event.
D2: out in the wager as well. Dailies are not going well at the moment.

Welp, i have retired the last 7 dailies in a row, excluding the ignored RX dailies.
Even current Polo/Germany one. O_o

Daily: Polo, Germany... I was annoyed by how slowly this thing's sequential gearbox changed gears, so I switched to h-pattern and clutch as I would with any other car really... the time difference was massive. I got a 3:06 on the daily, and that's after hitting some rocks and losing momentum... I would have gotten 3:04 easily with a clean run.

Why is sequential shifting so slow?

Anyway....

Owners' club: Manta, Wales... utterly crap run. Understeering lots, bumping into stuff, bad lines... how I even managed to set below 3 minutes is beyond me.
