The Wager... let's say i was surprised to not beat the PB i have on that stage/car class combo with this Wager, and even with my 2nd attempt in Custom Event.

Daily: R4 - nope
Delta: 2007 Focus (ugh) on a very nice stage in Sweden. Sadly I couldn't enjoy it because the 2007 Focus understeers like crazy, and to top it all off, default setup has front bias brakes. I reckon I lost 4 seconds on all my mistakes. Stupid car.

Daily: R4 - again? I still refuse. You can't make me. You're not my real mom. >:0
Delta: Integrale, Germany. ****ed up the very first corner - had to pull handbrake even, I normally never do that for that corner, and it took about a kilometer to get back into the groove afterwards. I reckon the timeloss was minimal, however - 1, 1.5 seconds tops.

Decided on using the monorail track, on DD1, grip was definitely better

R4 Subaru: Lots of mistakes and bumps. Felt like I was driving at a snail's pace. Pleasantly surprised to be 9th (at time of writing).

Integrale: The backend constantly wanted to overtake the front during braking. I hate that on tarmac, even more so in the wet. Still, I'm 16th, so all in all a good day for dailies.

Daily: Metro, Wales. Practice went well. On the daily I reached around halfway I suppose? Braking for that downhill open hairpin right, at my usual braking point. Nope, the Metro considered that to be too little too late, so it slid off into the grass and the junction. It would have put me at a crappy 2:56, so sayonara daily.

Owners' club: M3, Sweden. Pretty good.

EDIT: Apparently I did the exact same thing a year back... I guess I'll never learn. ;)

BMW daily - don't like Sweden, was slow and hopeless :D

MG daily - did surprisingly well. I usually have big crashes with this car, but this time managed a clean run :)

Daily: 2001 Subaru, Monaco ... too many mistakes for my liking.
Delta: 306 Maxi, Greece ... too careful in too many places.

But hey... I finished both dailies!

Retired both dailies, god dammit. My handling check run for the Delta was a top 3 time, but, alas, i still made a critical mistake on "that" one jump.

Really need more practice in Monaco. What i thought was a nice clean run in the Subaru only got me in the top 40.
The Greece daily was going pretty well too but i hit the side in one spot and did a barrel roll. Landed back on my wheels but it slowed me down a bunch. 19th place at the moment.

Skipping Pikes Peak daily, headed straight for the RS200 owners' club in Monaco. This thing still has like 20 degrees of rotation, had a really hard time coping with it... but I think I did pretty well, regardless.

Daily: Group A Escort, Finland ... happy to have survived this one, although the time wasn't all that quick. I just couldn't take the lines I wanted through the corners. Whenever I tried, the nose of the car went airborne. I reckon I lost a good 3 seconds on just keeping the car in the middle of the road. :(

Owners' club: Sierra, Germany... I enjoyed this one, despite the V2 physics. The car sounds just like the real deal, and with setups enabled the experience was even more enjoyable - finally proper gearing!

I haven't played DR for almost a month, but I popped it on the other night and decided to take the plunge and go straight into the daily ('01 Focus). I wasn't challenging the top 10, but I was pretty pleased to put a top 100 run in on my first go for several weeks!

Didn't get a chance to switch the PS4 on last night which was a shame, as I just noticed the Facebook link about the McRae Special Event this morning. Hopefully it will still be up when I get in from work this evening!

Daily: S4, Finland - Had a 2:56 in practice. I thought that was neat, and if I had a clean run in the daily and avoided mistakes I could get a 2:59. Aimed for a clean run, aaand... 2:56 again. Oh? Alright then.

Delta: Stratos, Sweden - never did like driving the Stratos here, but managed an ok run.

After a few rough days of daily's, I had a good run in Sweden with the stratos, then another in Finland with the S4.
Not as quick as i hoped though as i've gotten pretty used to a tuned S4 lately in the weekly and monthly, so it slowed me down a bit having the different un-tuned feel.

I actually managed to wreck the easiest daily combo there is.. Fiat! On Kontinjärvi. There is no easier car to drive. 6:11.0 in practice. Figured I'd be even quicker in the daily, but nope. I managed to wreck. The Fiat.

wow

Oh dear. Still, it's easy to get overconfident in the 131. It's handling is really forgiving. Still don't see how Gheed beat me by so much. He must have wings.

Sweden: The country I struggle with most. Lack the accuracy to keep off the banks

Wales: Was hoping for a good time (for me atleast) but a big red and white post had a different idea

Back to doing dailies, finally! The Dirt team is a helpful bunch.

Daily: Sweden, Quattro... some rookie mistakes, but still beat my PB. Currently leading.

Delta: Monaco, Subaru 2001... worst car ever, ugh. It is so easy and boring to drive that it lets me think about a billion things simultaneously, which led to mistakes and about a 4 second timeloss.

Daily: Finland, Renault 5 ... hmm. This car is extremely quick on the fast roads of Finland. It has so much grip and is so stable over the jumps and landings that I had a hard time adjusting to just how quick I could go. The time was ok, but I'll definitely be losing my current lead to people that are actually good at adjusting. I managed a 6:38, but a 6:32 is definitely possible.

Delta: Sweden, Citroën C4 ... well. No real mistakes, just a little too cautious in a couple of places. I really wanted to finish though. Leading at the moment.
