Fortunate Wager, wasn't expecting this car - off on all braking points imaginable. Still recorded it for later.

Daily: Skipped.
Delta: Oh look a delta daily. That means no car setup, right? One practice run with default setup. Jumped into daily, bam. Setups are enabled.

Not even going to bother... I don't like being tricked.

Was hoping to do the Wales special event last night, but I just didn't have enough time so I had to settle with the daily and a short custom event. Had a pretty good run, with a few little slip ups, but for the most part very tidy... right up until the last section of the stage (about three corners from the end!) where I made a dumb over correction and speared off into the trees. Instant reset and an additional 15 seconds on my time: arrrrrggghhhh!

Daily: RX - nope.
Owners: M3, Sweden. Easy enough combo. However, my mind was elsewhere. Should have waited an hour or so. Wrong lines, clipping snowbanks, misshifts... an extremely useless 3:03 was all I could do. Knowing I could have done a 2:59, I did not consider this worth uploading. One mistake I could have lived with, but when you lose count ... just. No. It should not be on the boards.

Ha, the RX ones are my faves as they are my most consistent dailies!
I spoke to soon: didn't realize it was Super 1600 until I started, timed my joker all wrong, got stuck in traffic and punted into the weeds, ended up with an utterly rubbish time!

Started off with the S4 owners daily today, seeing as it is Germany, thus being the easiest. 2:24 in first practice run, went for the daily... backing off a little more than practice, aaaaand... the car touched a piece of grass at 180 kph and threw itself into a tree. k

That's why I stopped bothering with practice: I always nailed a perfect practice run, then binned the car when making a proper attempt! Very annoying!

Well, to my surprise... I did finish the Stratos daily. So there's that.

There! This ezequiel m did it again, sits on P19 in the owner daily at the moment. Some magic stuff on rails, but this time he crashed badly.

For my part, I drove the Lancia daily like an anxious chicken, didnt feel comfortable this time with the S4. In that fast downhill left, I took the cut way too wide and went off to bumpy terrain, and also the following fast left over the hill was a mess. Next time, I push hard and crash in an early turn, still feels better than a dizzy ride ;)

Currently P14 and P10. That's two very good results for me. :)

Drove both dailies very carefully, but for once not TOO careful. (Where I end up going off because I'm not on the throttle).

TOTALLY messed the S4 owners daily up! Braked way too late into one of the early 90 lefts and ended up going straight on, managed to recover without a reset but, in an effort to make up lost time, I put a wheel on the grass and ended up in a tree: retired!

Had a crack at the Stratos and had an excellent first sector. Was just coming up for the end of the second sector when I took a bad line and ended up running very slightly wide. Annoyingly I ended up beached on a small bank at the side of the road and I was forced to reset the car to get going again. Really broke my pace and I ended up finishing over 30 seconds behind the lead time. Most frustrating as the first third of the run was superb!

Daily: Focus 2007 in Germany... no mistakes, just slow. Really not comfortable with that much grip, s'all. I can think of no less than 3 people that will beat this. :D

Well he doesn't count, hope Darren takes a look at him soon.

No, I was thinking you, Backalley, and Rallycameraman. Well, gheed as well... but he's not a fan of the V2 tarmac, so seeing him on Germany dailies is rare. V2 tarmac is also the reason we lost ji1. :(

Boaahh, same as always... I never bring it together.... Nerves, keyboard, concentration, impatience, don't know why....

D1: Probably the fastest guy in the clean sectors 1 & 4, but in bewtween massive errors. Could have gone easily 2secs faster.

D2: crashed and went off the road, cost me at least 2-3secs.

Thx for the flowers, but there are some more tarmac specialists, such as It's not me, zexav, rhexcon or dynt (aka doyaneedthis aka philipe philope aka aek_karaolis). But they seem to play rarely these days.

Rhexcon who pre-reset had the record on Pra d'Alart with the Sierra, 40 seconds faster than anybody else? Yeah sure, totally a specialist. ;)

Focus: Touched some grassblades here and there, so obviously the car bucked like a bronco. Currently 7th, but what could have been and so on..

Wager: Overjoyed when I saw the combo. Which obviously made me overdrive it and screw up massively at the first opportunity. Note to self: Never be happy.

Oh wow... I actually managed to mess up the Kadett daily. One of the easiest cars to drive in the entire game. Just wow...

Double wow. I messed up the second faceroll daily as well in the Abarth, a car where you can keep the throttle floored for 90% of the stage.

k apparently i'm bad

Wow! Top 10 in the Kadett on Oksala. First time I've been in the top ten for a loooooong time.

Still, as Porky said, the Fiat Abarth and the Opel Kadett are two of the easiest handling cars to drive.

Since I don't own a joystick I crashed and burned in both of the daily flight simulators.

We have lift off! Watch out for that tree! Where are the wings on this thing!?

Interesting. I often wondered about his curious bursts of speed on certain stages in weekly events.

After a few crappy days of daily event, we get two in 70's finland. Thanks to Porkhammer's crashing i had a chance at 1st if i kept cool. Flat out in the Abarth had me a little messy but i kept it together, then trying to go as flat out in the kadett had me even messier. Some trickier lines going this direction too i feel. Too bad gheeD did his dailys today. Ha.
2nd and 3rd place so far.
:)

Praise be Greece - the reason why i love DiRT Rally so much.
Man, the Delta is SO LIGHT on its wheels, most of the time loss is just me preventing the rear going out. Still improved upon my handling check run, which was just 0.7s slower.

Also, because Greece.
