The car must have been un-upgraded unlike Custom Event practice, i had Ridiculous understeer in the Daily. I am noticeably better on Monaco with Subaru, always, but the under-steer caught me off-guard. :/
Yeah little understeer on the Subaru, but then again, you're driving on icy tarmac, probably has some part to do with it, anyway, finished at a pretty good position, 11th place atm, but seems there is a cheater in front again Rexy (Poland), gap between first and second is +28~ seconds.

Yeah I thought my time was decent enough, so 27 seconds off Sylwesterp's girlfriend REXY is a bit annoying.

Another annoying thing is that Codemasters haven't removed these two players from the leaderboards yet. It's just so blatantly obvious that they're cheating... I really don't see the reason for delay.

Anyway, I went with my "slow is fast" philosophy in the Subaru. That seems to be the only way to counter its horrendous understeer - going slowly. I didn't dare pushing it on those roads - no way José.

Is there no way to get rid of them? Codies, please...

I emailed them last week, but heard nothing since they said they would look into it. Might try again, but I don't want to pester them too much.

I used handbrake in most corners to counter, plus it's more fun! >:)

Hmm not really my style... I don't trust the Subaru. Here's the boring replay of my run:

Well I decided I had too much grip so threw a tyre half way through my run to make it less Arcade. ;) Jumping off the side did not help either ;(

Ban the cheaters!!! Its bad enough being rubbish but when there's blatant cheaters that just adds to my poor score.

The thing is, as i said, i practiced, and i don't really need to practice for Monaco either - I really love it to bits with Group A at the moment. That "Left 4 over crest" can catch me off-guard, but the car in general seemed heavier, unlike Custom event. Noticed it in my braking on first hairpin and had to slow down more than usual. Better try on next favourable daily, might take 2-3 days to get one.

Edit: Could be completely wrong and affected by one slightly conspiracy-ish post about daily events in the forum before.

AAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!!  Did 2 ok practice runs. Then on final run my not so trusty co-driver choked and spilt all his popcorn all over the cockpit on a fast stretch and it got stuck in my break pedal linkage. Suffice to say we hit a rather nasty rut on the apex of a 3 right and went nose to tail in a most spectacular fashion and out into farmer Johns field. Retirement was inevitable after the incident as I received a rather nasty popcorn related eye injury in the tumble. I have now banned popcorn from the Rallies from now on. So its strictly ham sandwiches & scolding hot coffee from now on.

I'm practicing for it at the moment... how on earth is one supposed to keep it on the road? The steering is ridiculously oversensitive with default setup.

It's just stupid.

I Just jumped straight in to it and crashed within 20 seconds and had to recover the vehicle. I was going to quit but I didn't, I carried on and took it steady and had no more dramas. I set a time just 0.2 slower than my PB. Think I've found a new way to drive the 205!

I'm poking around with steering linearity... can't get the steering to feel remotely good. Way too sensitive, and no resistance in the wheel for whatever reason.

On my test runs I set the centre  diff 70% to rear and it felt rather good. But as stated I  don't  think  that's applied on your main run.

Porkhammer why you not show the actual driving view when you race with revs and times on ? :)
I can't record while driving, the fps drops too much. I told you on steam already.

Car is twitchy as hell, couldn't finish the stage without crashing, right rearwheel puncture, and ofcourse, had to crash into a tree causing my lights to go out, finished with +1:48 min behind the nr.1, I think I need to adjust the steering degrees for this car, I adjusted my suspension and damping to stop the car from flying everywhere, but I couldn't keep it on the road, the FFB was constantly trying to push me off track on an already slippery surface.

Miraculously I did manage to end up in top tier, weird enough.

ahh k cant remember you saying that. i know many dont because it gives away your cut times :*

just did a run with the mini did 3:07 dead so not far off after two goes. think 3:05 is doable with a amazing run.

There's no cutting involved in my times.

Turning off the FFB for this daily seems to be my only chance, as the steering is so sensitive that the slightest vibration in the wheel actually turns the car. This is beyond ridiculous, and if I spend enough time practicing, I will still be surprised if I actually finish this daily without incident.

But that's not realistic Porkhammer!
