Well this is getting quite tiresome.

Codies, please fix the hypersensitive steering of the RS200, thank you. I had a 3:03 in practice, which means a sub 3 minute time would be possible in the daily... if you hadn't made the steering so ridiculously sensitive that is. Wrecked about 200 meters from the start. I didn't even reach the lefthander.
Although you failed at the daily, I offer you some consolation in that you have made me feel better: I'm glad to see that even the fastest players sometimes stack it at the beginning of the stage!

Oh no problemo, I've done that quite a lot! ;)

Ha! Leading botth dailies for the moment, but both of them will last only for the next seconds.

D1: NO idea how i survived this, it's pure awfulness to drive this car in Finland with keyboard, super sensitive.

D2: Big surpurise that this time is worth something in the leaderboard at the moment. Huge mistakes. Love car and stage, and for once, I tried to behave hehe.

Yes, another tricky stage to get through in the RS200. Played safe with a few close calls for 1st place. Yey! :)

The Wager was pretty good too but it felt extra slippy to me so i held off a bit. 7th so far.

I got the feeling of extra slippiness aswell, was surprised that I got a top 10 time with that amount of sliding.

Today's challenges made me feel like I had never played this game before. Im pretty sure people could stop for a cuppa and still be quicker

Very interesting! Console guys seem to have caught up to us pc racers. 6 in the overall top 10 of yesterday's daily are achieved by consoleros - on a gravel stage. So thanks to headquake137 that he saved the honor of the steam people ;)

mediocre stuff.. two silver medals at the moment.

D2: Kit car in Monte: had a 4:26.0 in practice with some errors. The daily ifself started well, but I completely lost the rhythm in the second sector and onwards. So the possibility to climb on P1 was gone.

D1: Pikes Peak: the opposite happened, as minutes and huge mistakes past by until I found my pace. Unfortunately, I crashed in the second run after two bends, so I threw this chance away like a noob haha.

PS: Also you see my huge disadvantage against the wheel guys, since I cannot powershift. I becomes clear when you compare porkammer and me in monte-carlo with the ibiza on the big straight after the last hairpin. It is sometimes frustrating to see the wheel guys power away on the straights. But hey, I don't wanna complain. Just tellin

Daily 1: Too careful.
Daily 2: Too many mistakes.

ugh

To top it all off - apparently Nvidia forgot to include Shadowplay for my latest update, so it was unable to launch. I had to record both events with Fraps. Hmpf.

EDIT: Ok, I am confused. Why does Nvidia Geforce Experience demand a login all of a sudden? I have never had to log into anything for this. I just want to use Shadowplay.

EDIT2: Yay. I could uninstall this new abomination of an "update" and stick with an older one. Up yours, Nvidia.

Did the Kadett daily 1st today and had a really nice feel and kept clean.
Still beat by Porkhammer and his "too many mistakes" run.
:)

Was going even quicker in the Focus but got slowed touching a bank half way through.
I sped up in the end half to make up the time but i did a 360 spin in the last corner losing a few seconds.
4th place.

I'm using a wheel and VR but i'm also just in automatic trans. I know its not the quickest but i'm most comfortable that way.
I'm impressed you can get such good times steering with the keyboard. That's a skill in its own. :)

As opposed to yesterdays 70's owners' club daily, today's one went pretty well. Just a few tiny hiccups, but I kept my foot down - and I reckon this time is pretty good!

Metro daily, Germany... half the stage had rookie mistakes. Overall quite an awful run, actually. The time pass as acceptable though. It is by no means a winner time, sadly. Podium if I'm lucky.

Subaru 2001 daily, Monaco... this ****ing car. I swear it takes zero skill to drive. A toddler could drive it blindfolded. I could barely stay awake for a practice run. Still, tried to make an effort in the actual daily. Anything above 6:29 would be unacceptable. After making about 59,000 mistakes, I ended up with a lousy 6:33. So, I did not upload it. I wouldn't want to record that garbage and put on Youtube, to be quite honest. The Metro daily was bad enough.

YAY, another one of those monthly days where my fucking stupid Logitech software decides mid-game "hey, that's not a DFGT anymore you got there, that's a fucking purple 1999 wheel now". With the controls completely changing mid-stage, both pedals giving only half of the signal while fully pressed and the rotation going down to 180°. I'm seriously fed up with those idiots who are too stupid to program a goddamn driver for their gaming equipment.
The Metro accelerated like a Fulvia and braked like...a Fulvia with an elephant on its roof.
Now I have to reinstall that stupid Logitech stuff, probably 2 or 3 times to get it right...incapable morons.

Thx. Acutally, I switched to manual transmission half a year ago. I can highly recommend this, I was much easier and quicker to adapt than I imagined. Times and car control improved clearly. And well, using 7 buttons instead of a wheel is a bit odd I guess, but I'm used to rally like this since 20years and RAC rally championship :)

Go into device manager and open the driver section in the Properties of your DFGT, you should be able to revert back to an older driver from there.
Also, go to Devices and Printers and right click on the icon of your PC, and then Device install settings or something like that and there select No, that way it shouldn't automatically upgrade the drivers.

It's not a problem with updating drivers. It's always the same old Logitech Profiler v5.10.127 from 2010, the last one to work with the DFGT.
Apparently it just shits itself from time to time when there's a Windows Update and doesn't recognize the wheel correctly. Restarting, unplugging, Device Manager, all that doesn't help. I have to reinstall the Profiler in order to have the right wheel again.
Sometimes I realize that error before starting a game, or at the latest when I'm in the menu (due to smaller rotation), but it's been a couple of times now that the Profiler somehow waits until I've started the stage to go bananas and forget where it's at.
It's an annoying issue even when it happens before it has the chance to ruin anything. But those times when it happens on-stage, there's no chance to complete it properly. On most of the cars I could live with the 180° rotation, but when the pedals are just pretty much dead, you can't do anything.

I have the same wheel, and it happened to me as well. Reverting to older drivers from the Device manager helped for me. The first few times I also reinstalled the Profiler, but later just reverting the drivers did the trick and I didn't need to reinstall it. Hasn't been any problems since then

Daily: R4 - big nope.
Delta: Fiesta, Germany - Could have gotten a 2:33, 2:34 on this one. Unfortunately I clipped some rocks - first in the beginning, then in the end. Lost speed and time, ended up with an absolutely worthless 2:36, so... not uploading that garbage, because then I'd have to record it. I shiver at the thought.

Same here.. Will I ever do a proper Flugzeugring in my life? Was closely behind backalley until I crashed shortly before the last split. Only finished to compare the first sectors with the leader. But P1 was out of reach today so I'm not that frustrated.

Crash in Finland with the Japanese tank :)

Had a great run in the DS3 at Lydden yesterday, but totally fluffed the exit of the joker, half spun and dropped a couple of seconds. Most frustrating, as that dropped me to the bottom of the top 100.

Tried to make amends with the wager event, was too keen though and jumped the start, arrrggghhh! Had a good run otherwise and at least managed to record a time in the upper tier.
