Well a 3:01 was all that I could muster in the RS200 without upgrades. It was a lot of fun though, the car sounds lovely and has a nice, cooperative handling characteristic.

Believe it or not, today's daily was the first time I drove the Stratos since I tried it at Codies in February! Can't say I'm a fan of it though.

Oh I absolutely love the Stratos! Both the way it sounds and handles. :) I hope I can launch the game soon!

EDIT: Just did the daily! It went very well - just a little wide in one corner. But the time really didn't turn out bad after all! Long live the Stratos!

I think at one point I almost had the car going straight :P Then it hit a bank.. You top few must have balls of steel to stay flat through those forests.

Actually I hardly ever stay flat. The key is balancing the throttle so the rear end of the car gives you no drama over jumps and bumps, and floor it only when you know it's "safe".

I wish I had a happier comment to make but I got error 41 and can't launch the game yet. So restarted steam and now I get the DirtRally launch splashscreen, it turns black and crash's. No more error 41! I'm still waiting for something to happen.

Finished the daily in the top tier again today, didn't crash, pretty happy, should have about 10k credits coming in tomorrow :)

On a side note: Are you using a default version of the car in daily / weekly / monthly challenges or are you using the car you buy and upgrade in championship modes? I couldn't really find that anywhere.

All cars are since patch fully upgraded in daily challenge and custom events. For championships and weekly/monthly challenges (if I recall correctly) they will still have to be fully upgraded to achieve maximum performance.

Can you please stop accusing people of cheating, Premier? Nobody is doing any cutting. The times are not unreal, as they will be beaten once jl1 starts to compete.

So please, just stop. It's getting very tiresome listening to this whining of yours now. If somebody is faster than you, they are simply better players than you. You can either improve, or play another game.

You can't just go around and call people cheaters just because they are faster than you. Has it ever occured to you that you just aren't that good at driving? There are people here that are faster than me as well. I don't call them cheaters, I try to improve at the game instead. I am happy with my pace on the welsh stages, but I still struggle in Greece and Monte Carlo. So I need to practice. They do not cheat if they beat me, they simply drive better.

Stop arguing now or you'll just have the moderators lock this topic as well - and I for one would not want that to happen.

On topic: Today's daily was funny. First run I went off in the first bend! 5th gear! Crash, boom, bang! A 3:00 dead was all I could manage. "Oh well" I thought and hit Enter. Then there was another run (!) sooo... a bit more careful this time. 2:43. No drama! Yippi!

I made a 6-stage custom event. All the same stages, with identical weather conditions to the monthly, and the same fully upgraded Ford Escort Mk 2. I recorded while driving, which means my framerate was 30 at its best, and 10 at its worst. I had to pause midway through Sweet Lamb to restart the recording because the fps was down to 1. I also enabled the speedometer just for you LaPremier, as I know you would not have settled for a HUD-less recording, as you'd whine that I "hide my speed".

With this fat handicap at my hands, here are my times (also included in the video at the end of each stage):

SS1 Pant Mawr 2:55.976 (2:54.843 in the monthly)
SS2 Bidno Moorland 3:20.191 (3:19.158 in the monthly)
SS3 Sweet Lamb 6:19.668 (6:18.651 in the monthly)
SS4 Pant Mawr Reverse 3:01.426 (2:59.576 in the monthly)
SS5 Bidno Moorland Reverse 3:30.474 (3:28.225 in the monthly)
SS6 Geufron Forest 6:31.034 (6:29.834 in the monthly)
