The Dirt Daily Thread

Recommended Posts

I can do the daily as many times as I want :-)

But it doesn't register the time. Noticed it doesn't register my initial DNF either. So... Multiple tries means that you get removed entirely perhaps?

Anyway, the my steamcloud doesn't sync with Dirt Rally anymore, so it resets everything when I enter the game.

Decent run with the S4, though I don't like this setup.

The Fulvia went quite well, too, until my left paddle decided to skip every second downshift in the middle of the stage. Not good, with the Fulvias weak brakes and the hairpins. Lost a lot of time and had one off. Sigh...

Thanks for the tip, so could I :)

Lancia S4 is soooo not my favorite car to drive, somewhere near the end hit some bumps and flipped on the roof. Still, managed a top tier run, although I'm somwhere in the 500ths :dizzy:
The Fulvia run was just boring :D It was like driving in slo-mo.

With the S4, I lost my front left wheel which immediately sent me into an embankment—that launched me into the air, and when I landed it blew the right rear completely. So I got to try out the new puncture repair option.

"Ah very good, I need that delta achievement. Well this is by far the easiest of them all."

Three crashes later: bottom tier.

Fuck me.

I know what you mean, I had that same some dailies ago, perfect runs in practice, then the real thing, I crash off a cliff first corner.. totalled.

In the Subaru daily my practice run was 10 secons faster than my timed run. Those 10 seconds are about 150 places :d
Well, atleast I did better with the Stratos (one of my favorite cars), I'm currently in the top 30

I had a good balanced drive in the daily, driving quick while ensuring to stay on the road.

The Lancia owners' club daily wasn't all that fantastic, but for some reason I'm leading, so I must have done something right!

The Fulvia daily was weird. I managed a 3:48! :open_mouth: It is a miracle!

The owners' club daily with the Mk2 is a bit confusing. I'm talking about the road surface. Morning/overcast. It looks wet and slippery, but it is very grippy. It took me two practice runs and a PB of 3:12.4 to get somewhat used to it. I did back off a little on the daily itself to keep it on the road. That road surface is a real mindf**k though. Maybe I'm just a bit thick, but I cannot make any sense of it! Shiny tarmac means low grip... according to my head's logic.

I was able to enter yesterday's Daily Owner's Club event (Stratos), even though I don't own that car either.

I don't know if I should report this, or keep collecting those sweet sweet credits.

They already know. Codemasters employees are everywhere! In your oven! In the ceiling! Under the floorboards! They even hide in your pillowcase.

So.. they are very aware of this... "problem".

Cocked up my gear shifting with the Fulvia, didn't really practice the track and the grip levels.
Escort on Germany - Fast and Steady... Wait, fast? It's wet tarmac. O_o

Daw, i finished 'only' second on Fulvia owner's daily on Germany. D: Damn the mistake.

I went for the MKII daily, couldn't be bothered with the Fulvia, just too slow and boring, overall 4th, not too shabby :)

Missed top spot with the fulvia because of a gear jam, lost few seconds there. Next in the escort I managed to figure out how to actually turn that car around the corners and found fair bit of speed as a result. Really happy for todays result tho, was very frustrated at my pace like 30 min before driving em.. But after calming down a bit and concentrating everything came together and got a decent result.

Fulvia is almost dangerous. It's so boring, you lose attention to the road and start to doze off :D

well well....

Impossble times at first positions on rallycross event (serious WTF.. were talking about 23,30 seconds for 4, FOUR!, laps..)
I made a 2:05.9 with overlapping 4 AI cars and making no mistakes... almost perfect run.

A extrange underpowered 131 at owners club appeared (again). Softened suspensions, shorten gearbox... asmost impossible to reach 120 km/h. Hard to do wheelspin.. dunno ... somethings quite weird.

It's worse now 13.3 second 1st place in RallyX event, I mean do these people think we're stupid or something 4 laps in 13 seconds is cheating no ifs no buts, and it really takes the shine off a wonderful sim experience

lol its like a top ten of cheaters in the RX all using the same old turbo acceleration hack and instant brakes.this really needs to be stamped out.otherwise why do daily events, weekly, montly ?

its obvious people who use the hacks.the hacks are easy to find. pls get on it.

By the way, Isn't owners club daily supposed to be available for the selected car's owners only? I don't own Fiat 131 and was still available to play it.
EDIT: noticed dwkGravey's post, I have the same problem.

Codemasters gave the cheaters fair warning, now get them out and ban them for a month, then maybe they learn. If they still cheat, ban them for a year   =)

Maybe like this:

1 time: a weeks banned.

2 time: a months banned.

3 time: A years banned.

=)
