Snowy Monte Carlo - no comment
Germany with BMW M3 - yay, owner's daily are now immense fun when i can use my setups! \o/ Well, M3 only has changed gearing compared to default, but still more comfortable.

The owner's daily went better for me. I didn't bump into stuff every single corner. I did touch a little grass in a high speed section though. The rear of the car goes "HELL YEAH LETS DO THIS" and I'm begging it, "no pls pls stop" and finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the car agrees and says "kk let's finish".

The time didn't turn out too bad either, but I reckon there is still a handful of seconds to be had.

Wow, struggled on Monte again, i just can't drive on it anymore. O_o I probably did over-shorten my gears for the Sierra, but, oh boy, that was way too tricky.

The main daily went smoother than expected for me. Just a few tenths off my PB.
I can't do the owners' club daily as I have yet to upgrade the Sierra.

Smoother than expected has to be the understatement of the week. I mean, 6 minutes? Are you kidding us?

I had a good run myself and was set for a time under 7 minutes, when I went too fast near the end. I hit something and the car did a very very slow somersault, of course facing the wrong direction, when it finally came back to earth. Lost at least 15 seconds until I got going again.

It might have been around 6.55 and one of my better dailies. But 6 minutes? Even 6.30 seems out of reach for me. Puzzled. And congrats, of course.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune, Mr. White - and thanks for the compliment. I hope this recording of todays daily will make you feel less puzzled:

I feel sick after watching this.

And I think I lose at least 5 seconds in the three sharp corners, about 40 seconds in. Not to speak of the fast downhill passages in the second half. And all the stuff in between, I guess...

The Mk2 daily started off well. I did a 2:51 in practice, so I reckoned I could improve that in the daily. Nope. Turned into a corner too late, understeered way off the line. Lost all rhythm after that.

The owners' club daily.. meh.

Happy with today's daily, fun cars on interesting stages, the Metro could have been better, but not a bad time, and the Delta went pretty good, had a 4:34 min in practice, managed a 4:27 on the daily itself, good run, now all I need to do is wait for Porkhammer and Ji1 to come seize first place.

We were busy wrestling eachother in the weekly this morning. Damn that norweiganese is quick.

I am going to do both of todays dailies using my keyboard as I've got my PC back under the desk in another room away from my race seat/wheel as i'm doing some video editing. This should be interesting.

Welcome to the club. :P Metro daily was clean, but slow for me, hm. I usually do better, i guess i over-did my gearing again.
Lancia Delta HF... Could've been faster and cleaner, still am Top 12 with my Keyboard at the time of writing this, though.

Well I did the Metro daily, even though I'm 49 seconds slower than 1st I still enjoyed the challenge. It's a real bitch to control when you get on the grass!

Daily: 3:46.2 in practice. Screen freeze for about 2 seconds on the daily itself. When it "woke up", I was down a ravine.

Owners' club: Sloppy drive. Misshifts. Hitting stuff.

Not a good pair of dailies.

Horrible pair of dailies.

Mini Countryman on Greece? My FIRST EVER 'Unrecoverable car' on Greece after 160 hours of playing. Okay, wow, This is how its gonna go, huh?
Ford RS200 on Germany, was going for the most part okay, then the bumpy forest chicane happened and it did the 'Boing Boing Boing TREE' again. Well, this time without a tree, just a 360 Call of Duty noscope fail spin. I don't think ill ever find a setup that stops me from bouncing on that part of the stage.

Had very similar expeience in those two dailys :D With the Mini clipped a bump, which threw me off the road and down the cliff - unrecoverable. With the RS200 had some mistakes, in one place lost control, slid over a corner and got reset, ended up somewhere in the middle tier.

Todays dailys went a lot better. It's a bit funny, how with the Fiat I'm just 20 seconds behind the leader, but over 200th place (out of ~1500), but with the Quattro I was 40 seconds behind the leader, but somewhere around 50th place (out of ~1300):D

Greece with the Audi Quattro went great, could have gotten a better time, but happy with the result :)
I didn't practice for the Fiat, so that time is just not that great.

Went off after a few corners with the 131, quit. I'm terrible at night.

I have a theory: I'm using the chase cam. Could it be that this is a disadvantage at night? Because I just don't have the right feeling for the car at night stages. Anyone with the same experience? Or is the difference just as big with in car?

I don't feel a difference that much between day and night, at least in my speed. Probably just memorization of stages.

Right, Fiat and Audi...
Fiat - eh, clean, fairly quick, others are damn competitive as well. Gonna get aprox 14,700 credits from this, is good.
Audi - Not my cleanest run (Uploaded a replay of this on my channel, same as nickname here) but i am, 2 hours before daily reset, eleventh. Huh, not bad.

Fiat Kreuzungsring accidentally inspired me to test out what i can really do on this stage with a KB, here comes another temporary record time, this time with a Sierra. Oops.

@YoMrWhite, I have the exact same feeling, maybe the angle that you look on the track makes it look like there is even less reach of the lights or something.

That's probably right. And furthermore, you can't see the back of car moving. At least not as good as in daylight. So there is less visual information about what the car is doing.

With internal cam, you don't have that anyway, so you don't miss it at night. Have to try it out.

mmm.. I did a decent 2:33:8 at Germany with the 205T but I cannot see my own position over the rank (by the moment should be #1)

Time shows : --:--:-- ¿¿¿?¿? whats this?

WELL THEN.
Sierra on Wales - forgot brakes are a thing, bye bye tyres.

Peugeot 205 T16 ... i have set a 2m 31s 927 .. my time is NOT visible. Uuuh? Please? I can show a screenshot AND render a video of proof. >_>
Other than the time not showing - i am on fire on Germany lately, apparently. Really loving this tarmac.

EDIT: i don't see anything regards my time for the Pug, as if i haven't done any, but i have a video! O_o

Same problem, my time isn't registered, I ran a 2:33min, I screwed up one of the last corners and spun out, cost me at least 3 seconds =/
Sierra was aweful, didn't practice so I guess that's my own fault, oh well, better luck next time.
