His gfx card is a mouse in a wheel and he has a little monkey chiseling the frames in a piece of slate as he drives lol

Have you tried using AMD's recording software?

No. I'm a bit lazy and can't be bothered learning a new program. Looks pretty complicated from here. I just wanna hit a button to record, and another to stop recording. :) Can't really be bothered fiddling with a million settings.

Just done the Daily. The 205 is ridiculously slidy! Managed a 2:40 on run 2, over a minute quicker than the first run. Haven't got the balls to drive that car too quickly, plus i've got a bad shoulder which hurts a lot with that twitchy car!

Also is the DiRT game website down for everyone else?

I made a 6-stage custom event. All the same stages, with identical weather conditions to the monthly, and the same fully upgraded Ford Escort Mk 2. I recorded while driving, which means my framerate was 30 at its best, and 10 at its worst. I had to pause midway through Sweet Lamb to restart the recording because the fps was down to 1. I also enabled the speedometer just for you LaPremier, as I know you would not have settled for a HUD-less recording, as you'd whine that I "hide my speed".

With this fat handicap at my hands, here are my times (also included in the video at the end of each stage):

SS1 Pant Mawr 2:55.976 (2:54.843 in the monthly)
SS2 Bidno Moorland 3:20.191 (3:19.158 in the monthly)
SS3 Sweet Lamb 6:19.668 (6:18.651 in the monthly)
SS4 Pant Mawr Reverse 3:01.426 (2:59.576 in the monthly)
SS5 Bidno Moorland Reverse 3:30.474 (3:28.225 in the monthly)
SS6 Geufron Forest 6:31.034 (6:29.834 in the monthly)
Here's the video, it's processing at the moment as I had to use the Youtube tool to increase brightness because the Fraps recording ended up very dark for some reason. But if you can't be bothered waiting for a 26 minute video to brighten up, by all means press play and enjoy.

Thanks! Let's hope it satisfies LaPremier as well.
I'll fly my pig to hell and see if it turns cold!

Also the 205 Pikes Peak is hard. I feel its setup isn't really made for any gray stuff.

Haha! I thought the jail system let him comment, just not as often... :0
It does, but I only jailed him by mistake, went back and temp banned him for the week after he posted

Spent the first run learning and trying to tame the car, but got a reasonable second run and am currently 93rd

How do you know that? I can't get on the website to see where I am :(
Why, the in-game leaderboard of course!

EDIT: Snapped a picture for you!

Since somebody take an  interest in my opinion, I created this account. Thanks for exellent video quality, but we can see main details: NO timer at screen and NO checkpoints times we see. Its the secret. I have trainig recording for second stage... one moment there is strange freeze at my video, but generally I see, in parallel watching, that I finish with 3.24 for of order of 3 seconds before he finish with 3.20. Futher investigation needed, but for present moment I cannot be satisfied.
P.S. Because guy for the ends of all posted video, it means, that my demand for it was NOT "accusing" and so on, but was quite lawfull. And it means also, that I was jailed for nothing. Now if somebody will really sure that with porkhammer all is good, its for his and common profit. If investigation will cover some discrepancy - sorry, it his problem. So, for a time I'll continue with this account.

I play without HUD because it clutters the screen... I enabled the speedo just for you! ffs.
The time of each stage is visible at the end, how can that not be enough?!

You could sit at a computer in front of his very eyes and set the time and he'd still accuse you of having special shoes or something. The guy has a delusional ego.

Enough for what? Ok, i can agree you dont make shortcut at second stage in this run, but the question is how you here keep needed pace? May be, your car really better with upgrades, which works in monthly, But for final time... you so naive (or want to be naive) . Its well known fact, that some guys works with system timer  forcing it to be a bit slower or faster.... 0.01% enough, and even dont affect voice...

You can't force a timer... where on earth do you get these absurd ideas?
How I "keep the needed pace"? I drive as hard as I can and hope I don't crash!

I cannot force, but somebody can... and what about different trainers with "super-acceleration" and so on?..
