I'd be in favor of the daily being blind tbh
I too would love a blind daily!
Well ok then.
That would be lovely :-D

Daily: Failed because the car is too easy to drive and it pisses me off.
Owners' club: Went ok.
Try it with a keyboard
I don't need to. My brother has 17 hours played and he doesn't have much difficulty matching my pace in 2000's cars with keyboard.

Face it, they're a bit too easy.

(he could also play RBR with keyboard and be pretty fast, so maybe he's just awesome - but I reckon I still have a point :P)

I actually managed to crash in the final corner of the daily, haha. Turned in too early and hit a pole. So yeah, ragequit.

Owners' club went better - 2:47.926 and quickest so far. And by the beard of Zeus - I believe V2 tarmac has improved? The Colin McRae Rally-ness is a lot less apparent when driving now. It's still a little visible on TV-camera replays, but it feels miles and miles better to drive - @KickUp has something been done or am I being psychotic again?

Probably both. Though based on the live show the cars will get a V.3 physics pass after release, or so we can hope.

Daily went really well, managed to set a good time with the stock Impreza. Currently sitting in 3rd place.

Owners' Club - 6th overall at the moment, could've gone better, made a mistake in one corner.

Finally, some stills from today's daily.

I must admit playing the R4 cars on Germany, they looked different to what the other V2 cars did (pre Modern Masters release) so maybe it has been tuned a little?

You can always use the full range of steering matched with softlock to get some more challenge. But I know, you don't wanna relearn years of using lower degrees.... yadayadayada ;)

No. I would be shit for weeks before adjusting - and that's not because the cars suddenly became hard to drive, hurpadurpwouldyoubelieveit, but because I'm not used to all that rotation. So your argument is about as relevant as a horseshoe inside a kitten.

Am I the only one that likes higher rotation? Like 720 at the lowest?

No of course not, but ten years worth of Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP does stuff to your muscle memory.

Full range of steering doesn't make the cars harder to drive, it just makes me turn the wheel more.
Yea ok. So you are saying that using the full 1080 range on the Fiat 131 doesn't make it more challenging to throw around a stage than using 360/540? Ok then.

Nah. I use full range and the softlock option to matc the cars accordingly.

I made no mention of the Fiat, I'm talking about the 2000's cars. They're too easy to drive regardless of wheel rotation - they're too grippy, the brakes are way too effective, and they're generally too forgiving. They are so smooth that I genuinely can't tell whether I'm going fast or not - that's why they anger me.
