Wooooo 3rd overall! Of course it won't last long, though... :smiley: 

There is no way I could done better, this was a clean, perfect run. Not a single scratch. Just a missed gear, towards the end, when I accidentally pressed twice to gear up (3 to 5) and had to gear down.

God I HAVE to get a wheel... for now I'm very very happy with my 6:56ish :blush:

Oh there's quite a few seconds to be had if you just push, trust me. You will see that it will be beaten by a minimum of 5 seconds. :)

Even when he makes mistakes he still dominates. I wonder if he will have my rally babies. Its the perfect hairpins doing it, and when he carries a sh*t ton of speed through a corner drifting it, that helps too. I felt like I had no torque in 2nd and 1st is too slow so my hairpins were garbage. Car is set up like a sh*tbox.

Today's daily has the Metro in it! Wee! I decided to go for it. Like really go for it. Then I clipped the inside of a fast left hander and spun... the car ended up pointing in the right direction, but I decided to end my charge there, and cruise through the rest of the stage to finish. Phew! A little too close for me!

Hadn't driven the Metro before, so I took a quick practise run through one stage before - in Wales... Entered the daily and discovered it was Monte Carlo. Stupido! I started nevertheless and because I had no idea how the car would handle there, I took it very carefully, just keeping it in a straight line and tiptoeing around the corners. To my surprise, I wasn't too far off the pace - at least by my standards. 3.38 I think - nothing to brag about, but I honestly expected to be really really slow. Maybe that's the faster approach for me and the Metro. Unfortunately, it's not too much fun to drive this way...

Unfortunately, I didn't practice AND never driven the Metro before today, so I went for it head first, resulted in a slide downhill, terminal damage, unrecoverable :neutral:  hopefully more luck tomorrow. I feels like the metro is RWD, is it? Didn't even look at it.

The Metro is 4WD, Spokster. :) Always give cars you're not familiar a practice spin before attempting the daily.

It's 4WD but with default setup the center diff is set to send all tourqe to the rear wheels, so it behaves more like RWD.

Did manage the E30 daily, but not the fastest time, did manage top tier, but +37.xxx seconds, probably 50 now.

Another car I didn't drive before. At least my practice run was on the same stage this time, but I really can't handle this one. Either it's on rails or the tail steps out abruptly. So another slow one, but still in the top tier. I see a pattern forming there...

I know this stage fairly well so jumped right in. Drove pretty safe without any big risks and clinched 12th fastest. Happy with that.
