I chucked it into a tree =( gg. Couldn't beat 3 minutes tho I don't see even ji1 and his magic rally powers beating a 2:42. I hope he does tho. Or you could do it if you get a clean run and push :P

I give you guys special permission to "kevin abbring" your way across the whole moors section if it's gonna beat that time. I wont tell anyone lol

Fair point. Though he's doing more than cutting the odd corner I suspect. 

Whether that actually IS cheating is a conversation for another time but CM might have shot themselves in the foot when they released a vid endorsing that cut.

Well my daily went... shall we say.. bad. Two spins.

My offline practice runs were alright though. But nowhere near sylwesterp's time. So he's doing what he does best; cheat his way to the top by any means necessary. The sooner his times are removed, the better.

I reckon a 2:49 is possible with an absolutely flawless run with 100% maximum attack. But 2:42... hah. With the S4 that is. Maybe it's possible in the 205 though.

Even if a 2:42 is possible the guy was so clearly cheating on the weekly that he's lost the benefit of the doubt here in my opinion.

haha, nah, this time was a bit too much for me! Wasn't a perfect run I had either. Avoided the cuts, and made a few mistakes that cost me a second here and a second there. That's how it goes with the S4 :P

Well for me it's not really tricky, it just has this horrendous understeer. Even at full steering lock in 1st gear - I could barely drag it around hairpins!

Well that's possibly the most horrible car in the game. What an absolute dog. That default set up is complete rubbish. Won't be doing any more dailies with that car in, no enjoyment at all. Whole stage was spent wondering if it would steer round the next corner.

Phew. And I thought it was just my incompetence. Now, if you two have problems with it, imagine what it does with lesser beings. Ideas for a better setup anyone?

Depends if the understeer is under braking, coasting or acceleration. If it's braking you can move the brake bias away from the front and look at the braking part of the diff settings to try to get more rotation. If it's acceleration you probably want a more locked rear diff to get more power down and take a look at the torque split but I think it's as far rear as it can get while still being 4WD. You could try toe on the front too for more steering angle. You can change the ride heights to shift the weight forward too and fuck with suspension but that gets complex. Or just use the 205, it's awesome lol

Thank you, I will try some of this. Next career car is a Group B, and I'm undecided between the Delta and the Metro right now. Maybe the RS 200. Taking the Peugeot might be the easiest (fastest) choice, but I guess I just want some good old blood, sweat and tears here.
