Scott1904 1 Posted April 16 Hello Codemasters and F1 players, I realy hope we will get this feature this year! Its completly unbeleavable that only the xbox one version of previous f1 games are missing this basic feature. On PC I was able to use this feature with xbox one Controller and xbox one headset plug n play. If no, Can you at least explain why this feature is missing? scottishwildcat 187 Posted April 18 It’s missing because there are no Xbox APIs that allow them to implement it. No great mystery.
TomAAA 447 Posted April 18 (edited) Microsoft decided that the only voice command support that would be on xbox one would be through the Kinect. Then they ditched the Kinect so now totally no voice support for any games. Its the same logic the used so that any controller device such as wheel would be limited to the number of buttons on the Xbox controller, hence why most wheels cannot use all buttons on xbox. Its amazing how wrong Microsoft get it. It looks like they are doing the same thing again with this years new console as they said there was no major game market for VR hence why they won't be supporting it on the new xbox, obviously oblivious to the fact that for racing games it has been the 'must have' big seller for that genre Edited April 18 by TomAAA

Maybe it's not a huge market, but it is definitely growing. Hopefully they have plans to release something in the future to support it - and knowing MS, I'd be surprised if this wasn't a planned thing, to give another big boost of sales in a year or two. If only they were as good at designing for video games as they are at making money.
