Same car, same setup drive differently at times?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone noticed this behavior?  For example, I always brake before turning the final corner at Monza.  It's a simple corner and impossible to mess up.  From time to time, the same car, same setup and same driving will oversteer at this spot (front end pulls to the right) and crash into the inside barrier.

I’ve had this today, I have a set up that is really stable around Sazuka and doesn’t slide off the track but today I had two duels there’s and both times I slid off the track in unusual places.

Today at Hockenheim the same car slid at the slight kink on the first straight.  The stability assist did absolutely nothing like driving on ice.  I lost it and hit the barrier.

Happens quite often. Most of the time I get under-steer, as if controls got laggy. I experienced over-steer too, but less frequently.

I agree with you, it's really annoying because this game is all about timing (steering and braking) in order to get the best laptime. I had several races ruined because of this. I get that in Duels, not in single races or events. So I guess it has to do with some sort of network lag affecting controls.

Hockenheim first corner has a bug with unwanted sliding and also a loss of power. Been like this for months but nobody seems to care. I don't think devs actually play their game because this is an obvious bug. Just need to be careful on this one.

Sure enough, after practising in Brazil and regularly doing 1m 2s with no issues,  I enter the event and get overseer on my second and third laps and go into the grass.
