Do drivers come back in career mode?

Recommended Posts

I'm in my third season of career and with driver transfers over the course of the game, Norris, Kvyat and Kubica have disappeared. Do drivers who have been replaced return to career?

I wouldn't expect Kubica to return, but could Norris and Kvyat be back?

Hi @WestHam66

They can potentially return in the Driver Transfers period. Remember, seats are taken by Butler, Weber and yourself.

Weber replaced Kubica and Butler replaced Kvyat at the start.

Butler then moved to McLaren at the start of season two, Sainz moved to Alfa Romeo and Raikkonen replaced him to make a not-so-triumphant return to McLaren.

Strangely, I haven't had any driver transfers since just before the halfway point of season two.

If you're interested, below is the full list of the teams and drivers as it stands halfway through season three. I've put them in the order of the current performance ranking.

Racing Point - Perez & Ricciardo

Ferrari - Me & Leclerc

Mercedes - Hamilton & Vettel

Red Bull - Verstappen & Bottas

Haas - Magnussen & Grosjean

Williams - Weber & Russell

Alfa Romeo - Sainz & Gasly

Toro Rosso - Albon & Giovinazzi

McLaren - Butler & Raikkonen

Renault - Hulkenberg & Stroll

Kubica is back! He's replaced Gasly at Alfa Romeo and Gasly is now at Williams, with Russell out.

The F1 2020 Career Mode could receive proposals from teams, and not simply change when we want. Is there such a possibility?
