peanutt2000 79 Posted April 22 Just a bit of fun while on lockdown, thereâs a lot of contracts up at the end of 2020 so just been thinking where drivers will end up. Feel free to join in Mercedes - Hamilton/Bottas Ferrari - Leclerc/Sainz Red Bull - Verstappen/Albon McLaren - Ricciardo/Norris Renault - Ocon/Vettel Aston Martin - Perez/Russell Alpah Tauri - Kvyat/Gasly Alpha Romeo - Raikkonen/Not sure Haas - Magnussen/Not sure Williams - Stroll/Latifi Its only an opinion. Feel free to leave yours. Cheers
JanKondler 16 Posted April 28 There is no way that Stroll will be at Williams
Nightfire1964 161 Posted April 28 stroll won't go to williams i think most drivers will want to stay in their current team for maybe another year
peanutt2000 79 Posted April 28 My thinking on Stroll going to Williams is that Aston Martin/Racing point will be on the up and it will start to dawn on Daddy Stroll that his son isnât gonna be good enough for a team constantly fighting for points and maybe even podiums in the future. Thatâs when I think Daddy Stroll might get his his money out and try buy his son a seat a Williams for 2021. For this year if Renault, McLaren and Racing point have very similar paced cars then PĂ©rez and Stroll wouldnât get racing point to 4th in the constructors. Itâs the weakest driver line up of the 3 teams Iâve mentioned. I think Daddy Stroll with realize that come the end of the season. let me know what youâs think. Cheers

Guest Mike1158 Posted May 1 Sadly, money talks and bovine walks. Especially in F1 but I do not see Aston in F1 realistically for a while yet with the purse being so tight and focused on road car development/sales.  Ricciardo to McLaren is an interesting suggestion which depends on how Renault manage to go about a) remaining in F1 and b) convincing him to stay with them. Rindt70 3 Posted June 27 Merc really need to turf out Bottas and put in a driver who can even attempt to challenge Lewis. Right now with them dominating so much, it makes it even more boring when you know only one of them is going to win the title.   1988 McLaren dominated but with two top drivers the season was still very good and enjoyable.  Having one top driver and one paid lacky to let him past really makes the seasons long and boring. I don't care who they put in the car but someone who'll make the season a battle please.
Maddogmm1 0 Posted June 28 I donât think Seb will go to Renault. This is because unless he gets a drive to Mercedes (quite unlikely in my opinion) or Red Bull (even more unlikely) then he will take a year sabbatical to open up his options or maybe even retirement all together.
