@PJTierneyPJ You did my post Confused, but I tried it myself!
Last night I uninstalled the whole game and this morning the game was reinstalled.
The english co-driver is great, from the volume everything is ok ! but the german one is not (Scotland)

I wasn't confused at your message, I was confused about the volume 😉 

If Scotland needs another audio update that'll have to wait until 1.15, but I'll pass it on.

Update !
I have just tried the french Co-Driver as well and everything is great !
It is only the German Co-Driver where the volume is still not right.......... just try it yourself

at my PS4 the German Co-Driver sounds Awful, but the sound volume is good. (Dear Tanja its irritate wen you mix English and German Language)

For Scotland Tanja's volume has improved but it is still fluctuating loud and quiet.
The English and French co-driver is from the volume and I only mean Scotland much, much better.
I have compared all three

i will test other Co Drivers,to compare..  but for now, my impression is, that,  it sounds ok? like on Any Other Location?

edit: I Can speak for myself,  On my PS4 everything is perfect, Tanja has same volume as everyother Co Driver in Scotland!

Tanja only speaks too softly in Scotland all other locations are okay (sometimes loudly, sometimes softly)
The problem was supposed to be solved by the patch.......... but it was not solved for Tanja
And I can hear that very well because my PS4 is connected to my Dolby Souround system

Thanks PJ really appreciate your reply  😊 ... i have absolutely no other complaints and really enjoyed driving the Colin McRae chanllenges after a long time away from sim racing 😍

 

This strange night time or darkness bug is really annoying so if that could be sorted for Oculus users it would be great as performance in SteamVR on Rift S is pretty dodgy !  😵

hi sir, a friend told me that germany desapeared from the "contre-la-montre" training with the new update. he couldn't train on best lap free mode in germany location anymore.  any info about this ?

The Subaru gearbox still shows "Manual-Sequential" instead of "Manual" and in all cars while turning, the driver is stuck changing gear for as long as you are turning the steering wheel. 

Write these down for 1.15

I get that, but knowing it doesn't make it good. If the system is looking at multi-GB updates for tweaks, more work should have gone into decoupling things. 19GB for fixes is just over the top; it's just trading software engineer effort (the guys who get paid) for customer annoyance (the guys who pay).

The reason why I switched to Phil Mills.
Very irritating for a native german, getting mixed languages as pace notes.

It's probably because the german variants of "cut", "hairpin" etc. take much longer to speak it out, but it is still too much for my old brain 🤣
This and female voice is just too high pitched in general, getting headache after some time from it (I use a headphone) 😃

The menu sound effects included with the patch aren't very subtle. Would have been nice to have the option to turn them off.

An announcement is better in the USA event, where there is this waterhole, there is a left turn later, which becomes narrower and there are boulders outside.
Mills now announces louder and warns of the danger.

It's really nice that they have fixed the German Co-Driver sound after all the time (damn ASMR Edition), but the second sound issue is still a thing.

The engine sound is still toooo loud, doesn't matter if it's set to 50 or 100, it's the same output value and the Co-Driver is still hard to understand. 

No more ASMR but still a Engine Scream Edition. 

 

Normally, I play the game with 60% engine sound, 100% Co-driver sound and 90% HMD device sound. Now: 50(min), 100, 40....because the engine is so f.. loud.

My neighbor asked me what I do with the drill, when I played with my standard sound setting... No joke.

I advise every german driver in Scotland to compare the german co-driver with english and french then you know what the volume must be like

By the way there are only two cars where the engine is louder than the passenger : Seat Ibiza Kitcar and Peugeot 208 R2

I set the volume to 100% on all

I don't see anything different than before.

But once again, i don't understand why they put 4 GRX drivers in incorrect cars when there's enough 2019 official cars and liveries (22 i think) to make up the 20 car field.

ya sure spend less time on things that are actually important and more time on breaking the game into tiny pieces so you can have a slightly smaller download size. also, you're probably forgetting that they're using a game engine from 2007 or so, so it might not even be possible in the first place.

in addition, you think too much in terms of "I pay therefore I deserve everything." it pretends that the enormous amount of time and effort of working on something through one's full-time job is worth nothing. that's kinda weird.

are you still getting the GRX Taneco drivers in the wrong cars? I was assuming that's what they fixed.

I also thought it was that but no. i'm still getting GRX drivers in wrong cars. No Seat, no Olsbergs. But it is what it is.
