Shader Bug on Pikes Peak

Recommended Posts

I change the shader detail to ultra low when playing pikes peak drove on and the silhouettes of the environment around me when I changes the setting stayed/followed me
Checked on rally stages but no bug there
I've a HP Pavilion G6 2399sa laptop not saying it's the best but it gets the job done

Same here but in pretty much every stage, using also a laptop.

Stupid question incoming, but have you guys with the graphics anomalies updated your graphics drivers?

What graphics solution have you guys got, integrated (and which)?

@TerenceOR, I checked your laptop and it has a 'AMD Radeon HD 7660G Discrete-Class (up to 3.98 GB)' card and as it's in the list, I'd say it's supported. Unless it's some strange variation of a 7000 series AMD GPU... Try updating the drivers, here's the link to the driver page: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download. I'd imagine you'll be needing one of the drivers listed under 'AMD Mobility Radeon™ Notebook Drivers', just choose the one that matches your OS (Operating System).

A lot of integrated graphics cards in laptops aren't usually officially supported in games for good reason, as you guys are maybe finding out...

Are they in the official list?

(Officially supported, taken from Steam listing)

Supported Graphics Cards:
AMD: HD5000 Series, HD6000 Series, HD7000 Series, R7 Series, R9 Series
Nvidia: GTX400 Series, GTX500 Series, GTX600 Series, GTX700 Series, GTX900 Series
Intel: HD4000 Series, HD5000 Series

Mine is a AMD Radeon HD 7670M and drivers are updated as of catalyst version 15.5 beta, still have the problem with the shadows though. Pretty sure mine is also supported despite being mobile. That list probably indicates the cards that are DirectX 11 compatible, as it is a requirement for Dirt Rally.
